Same here. i'm by no means a Wiggo fan, but i think he was treated badly, so going back to a team where he saw moderate success and knows how things work would probably be better than another bland year at sky.

I can see Wiggo aiming at olympics track and road TT, worlds TT, some stage races where the winner will be decided in the TT, maybe cobbled classics, and I think he wants to ride the Tour, though I'm unsure what his goals may be. Win prologue, TT, TTT if they are there. I don't think he thinks he can win, but maybe go top 5?
With this in mind he needs one excellent domestique, let Wiggo choose a friend, his own race schedule and I think that he could return some value at around the 1.5 million euro mark. The problems start when he claims he wants to, and is capable of winning the Tour needs a full train and 3 million euro.
In the first case he could fit into plenty of teams even teams with contenders, but guessing i would say he is asking for the sporting aspect of the first scenario and the salary of the second. Based on statements about his sporting goals and the fact noone like to take a backward step in salary.

Didn't quite know where to put this, but according to Danish TV2 (whose source is L'equipe), Tinkoff Bank and Cannondale have signed a contract, thus making a fusion between the teams the most likely outcome.

I think Pozzato was already mentioned and linked to Trek in one of the previous posts. Would make sense as he is past his prime but could still be a valuable servant to Fabian.
