Agree with both parts but my argument is more that nobody should earn such ridiculous wages and seen as this is a cycling forum, it is targeted at overpaid cyclists.

So what's rediculous? Is it 50k? Which would provide healthy food for like 50 people for a year in Sudan? Because that's what the average domestique earns, basically someone who doesn't do anything of real value for this world other than to provide a tiny bit of entertainment (after all, there are guys in the Tour that just cycle with the pack each day, we wouldn't notice them not being there).

Please tell which moral compass you're going to use?

ITV mentioned Pinot might be going to Sky, any news?

I also think it should be a mistake by ITV.
Barguil has been linked to Sky, not Pinot. and Madiot would not let him leave. he'd talk him to stay. well, he'd yell and swear him to stay :D
Pinot is fine at FDJ.

Bauke Mollema to Trek

Oh good they desperately need a GC guy. Kiserlovski is improving nicely but he can't ride all 3 GT's. And I really like Arredondo but he strikes as more of a mtf stage hunter.

Thomas is chaning his focus to one week stage races and GT's, so classics are not certain next year.

I asked a question during a recent Q+A session with G and he said for next season at least his target would still be classics then hopefully Tour. He could still ride PN with that schedule.

Trek like these type of riders, don't do they? They like riders who never ever attack. They have Zubeldia, now they sign Mollema.

Inspite of the fact Cannondale is very weak team for Sagan potential and ambition, I somehow want to see him staying with team. They did a lot for him. What a pity that Moser lost a form. They could be great duo.

Cannondale just needs one big sponzor, one another great classic rider, like GVA and they can win and lot a win a big.

I wonder where Formolo is going to end. Such a nice guy.

I heared rumours about Sepulveda joining Cannondale would be nice for them. Although they indeed need a classic rider or Gatto needs to up his game a bit.

lol, schlecks wont get their contract renewed.

Or they'll get a very small contract. They have a long history with Trek management at this point. I think they'll keep them on.

I doubt the Schlecks would be willing to signed some small contract. Andy is so out of reality that he thinks that he is still a top GC rider even though he has no results in years.

Time to dump them both even though Frank could be a decent domestique but he will never accept that position unless he is working for his bro.

After the Ardennes he talked about how he was disappointed in himself, how he had a lot of work to do before the Tour, and how no one would put him on the Tour team with how he was.

So no, I don't think Andy still see's himself as a GC rider. His comments prove otherwise.

I will admit before I ask this question that I haven't read this thread and it may very well have already been discussed, if so, I apologise.

I just heard on the tour coverage that OGE are after Wilco Kelderman. You guys heard this rumor anywhere else? I admit to hearing rumors of OGE wanting Wiggans and Porte and I wasn't happy about that so if this is true, I'd be much happier ;)

Thanks

There were such rumours for a while. If Belkin fails (which is quite possible) then it looks like a done deal and good for both parties. Orica will get strong GC conteder with decent TT ability (good for their TTT goals) who will bring good amount of WT points. Kelderman will get sole leadership at the Tour with strong support (if they focus on gc at least a little): Chaves, Yates, Yates, Weening.

Sagan to Astana (rumoured)

Would be interesting; based on anything more than getting on well with Nibs?

I thought he was almost certain to be at Tinkoff though...?

The rumour is from Sporza, they're saying they've got a reliable source. It makes sense though, Sagan being buddies with Nibali, Astana being able to through trunks of money at Sagan, and Sagan getting enough support in the races he needs
