Lancastrians are built of sterner stuff. I'm surprised when good South American juniors don't fail at converting to the seniors, not the other way around.

Parra's results are very ordinary, but his 2013 results were not exactly superstar stuff.

This move gives Carthy the opportunity to ride lots of races which potentially suit him rather than trundling round Britain. All he can do is give himself a chance, and now it's up to him to make sure he develops in to it.

I'm really happy for that. He is probably my favourite rider of that generation. And he really deserves a WT continuation, what could potentially have been under threat after Garmin-Cannondale merge.

Too bad he rides in the same team with Dan Martin, Slagter, Hesjedal and with Moser and Villella from next year. That really limits his chances of riding for himself in hilly races. I think Garmin has the strongest team in the peloton for that kind of terrain.

yes thank you for proving my point. kwiatkowski was lucky to get a 2nd chance at a good team. he wa shorrible at caja rural as well. moreno and herrada weren't young ruben fernandez? only win of any importance he wasn't even wearing a caja rural shirt
