Pff they should better re-sign Horner or get some Iranians on board instead of hiring semi-retired Sanchez and Pablo Lastras.

It's getting more and more laughable with Lampre. Unless Costa the most flashing thing of this squad is their jersey. Maybe they should invest in a proper medical program for the squad first of all as they even were stupid enough to **** up Ulissi and Horner.

It's just pathetic.

Wait ... Duarte!? Omg should I laugh or should I cry :D

Lastras? What are you talking about? He re-signed by Movistar. Sanchez definitely past his prime, but he was 6-th in the Vuelta and 5-th in Lombardia. Not bad for semi-retired rider i guess:rolleyes:. Samu looks stronger than he was in 2013

But you should expect a bit more from the biggest Italian cycling squad shouldn't you? In the past they at least got some decent riders from the Italian Pro Conti squad. But since most of them got worse at Lampre I've got heavy problems to take them serious anymore.

Not that I dislike them. I just don't see any proper concept to change this anticlimax. They've got the budget in past, but as I stated before already I see no sportif advantages compared to Androni for example why a young talent should sign with Lampre.

It just hurts to see somehow as they've got so much tradition and uniqueness with their blue-fuchsia jerseys.

Edith admits she mixed up Plaza and Lastras. #fail

Matt Slater with the BBC saying he heard Edmondson is on his way out of Sky.
Team Sky are truly the no.1 graveyard for cycling talent.

Zinoviev Letter said:
Lampre could certainly offer him leadership in a lot of races and probably good money, given the sparseness of their roster. On the other hand, I tend to think that Garmin are more likely to give him a needed boot in the hole performance-wise.
I agree Garmin would be the better choice for his career, but you know... what with Lampre being the only Italian team desperate for decent riders and all that.

Pro-Conti, thats as much as I am saying lol.

Too much of a blurry line between BC and Sky means the mentality of BC drifts into Sky therefore they dont really like giving their young 'uns a go.

Get the feeling he would have been better pro=Conti in the first place, don't forget he went to WT a year younger than the Yates brothers and he is the same age. Looking forward to a good next season from him.

Unzué says the Movistar roster is basically closed. So Guti, Ventoso, Sanz are out. He says he thinks they'll all find other teams, MOV is trying to help with placing them, and there is a possibility that MOV might keep just one of those if they possibly don't get another team. Source

Lampre says hiring Sammy Sanchez is not in their plans. Source

edit-
Now I'm waiting (hoping) for Lampre to announce that they've hired Guti and Ventoso.

How is SAMU semi retired...haven't heard this anywhere ...Who makes this stuff up ??
He is younger than Horner and just a year older thna Purito .....
He was 6th in the Vuelta and 5th in Lombardia...how does that stack up at BMC against other riders ???

Experts on here make me laugh ....always undermining riders for no good reason or predicting their career demise

From what I have been told he was due to goto Bontrager-Livestrong to start with, but Brailsfraud 'stopped' it and talked him into joining Sky.

Which reminds me, Dombrowksi is joining / joined Garmin for next season?

As a side note, no more Garmin on the team name

Its just ''Cannondale Pro Cycling Team ''

Read on this site that despite most of the Bardiani riders having contracts for 2015, due to a change of management company with the team, all riders will need to pen a new deal with the team to remain on board.

This could be a golden opportunity for several WT teams to sign the likes of Colbrelli, Bongiorno, Battaglin, Pirazzi and Zardini.

Ventoso is a great rider who is massively underrated, I would retain him.

No word on Mauro Santambrogio is there? Pretty sure his ban ends soon..

On one hand maybe Lampre would be a bit more interesting. On the other noo pls stay at Bardiani

Oh, Colbrelli to Sky? Please no
