I mentioned the Nieve rumour a week ago

Wouldn't mind Gaimon to come back there, he was one of the best domesiques in American races last year.

Especially retired ones for some reason.

Good to see. He's too good not to be WT - even with track commitments. Yet to see his best.

Given his health issues with rheumatoid arthritis; he's only going to have limited spells of "effectiveness" and his race program therefore is likely to be limited. There is the possibility of maybe 1-2 decent results but given his history they're likely to be few and far between.
In any case, for next year much of it will be taken up with track preparations for the Teams Pursuit in Rio.
There is no doubting his ability but given what's known about his limitations I'm just not seeing him as particularly good value for money.
Give him a chance. He's had a better year overall this year, and from all reports he's got his arthritis more or less under control. Apparently his home life is much more settled too as well.dirkprovin said:Elegant Degenerate said:Ricco' said:Jack Bobridge going to Trek.

Lead out for Van Poppel/Nizzolo? He's still got a long, strong turn of speed.Sasquatch said:dirkprovin said:Elegant Degenerate said:Ricco' said:Jack Bobridge going to Trek.

Must be aiming for the TTT at the World's next year. No other reason to sign him.

Bobridge's showings at TDU and the North American races showed that there's still something to offer. He'll never be a great GT domestique but has the engine for classics and 1 week races though. Also, he may have some form of personal sponsorship happening that allows this to happen, his profile in Aus is big enough.

Odd addition for Loto Soudal?
