Cannondale - Garmin look like they will be a better balanced team next year. Talansky - Rolland - Uran - Formolo - Dombrowski will give them plenty of climbing strength. Their hilly classics team should still be strong, although now lacking a very top tier leader. They will have in Wippert a competent small race winning sprinter. It's only really on the cobbles that they look a bit flimsy. Martin is a big loss, as is Hesjedal even if the latter is heading rapidly for his best before date, but the new signings combined with an extra year for Formolo and Dombrowski should give them reason for optimism after their worst season in many years.

Jungels will not re-sign with Trek and rumour has it his new team will be Etixx. That would be amazing, I would love if he forgot about GT's and focused on classics and tt's instead.

Wouldn't Etixx most likely want him to ride GC? It's not like they are short on classics riders or desperately need a TTist.

Jungels joining etixx would finally give us the long-desired joining of the Dutch and Luxembourg national champions on the same team :D

They still have Langeveld and Van Baarle. I'm not sure if they're any lesser power in cobbled races compared to Wippert in sprints. And maybe Skjerping will develop into something interesting, he was 2nd in Ronde U-23 last year.

Absolutely. What I meant was that they will go from no proper sprinter to a competent lower tier sprinter, which is a big step forward. While on the cobbles there's no real improvement, from a pretty weak state for a team that won Roubaix (unless one of the young lads comes good)

Not sure of it has been mentioned but Bonifazio has signed for Trek, and Lampre have taken Petlli and Ravasi. Thuens also to Trek.

Jungels leaving Trek confirmed, apparently not enough results in the last season for an improved contract.

Guercilena says he's almost certain to join Etixx next season. I like it, maybe they can give him a better calendar for him.

Guercilena working overtime to rid Trek of their Luxembourg history for their Italian future.

Was wondering if anyone knows if Soren Kragh Andersen and Mads Würtz are going pro next year? In an interview with CN, they say he has a WorldTour deal for next year, but won't say with who. Only clue is he is moving to Girona. Given their goal of developing young guys, is his destination OGE or are other teams being linked?

Nothing positive has been rumoured that I'm aware of.

Nieve off?

There's some major trolling around this year. Seriously no way Landa signed for Sky already when his suggested support team ain't signed yet or is leaving.

Either they've in fact all signed in July already and everything else was pure trolling or there wasn't anything signed anytime.

I'm a bit annoyed by time. This whole Landa,Intxausti, Izagirre, Nieve, Valls, Betancur rumors make less sense day by day in reference with each other.

I believed again that they've in fact all sealed deals with Sky the last few days. Now I got absolutely no idea what to think.

Theoretically there is/ was Landa and a full domestique team to pick up. And now only Landa at Sky? Why would he take a lesser paycheck in that case?

In the end they'll end up with Cofidis or something like that. *lol*

And all those guys have either been rumoured to Movistar or already is there. I think Intxausti will leave, Ion as well (pretty sure I read an article that said Gorka will be staying around), so they need someone to fill that void. Dayer Q is nowhere the talent as Nairito, but Im still looking forward after a semi disappointing second season. Anacona is interesting as well here, same can be said for Ruben Fernandez, but I doubt any other than Anacona can really make an impact in Tour mountains which they need. Herrada, Castro and Gorka arent good enough in the big mountains either (great and valuable domestique in all terrain tho), Antón and Gadret fading and/or leaving. Jesus Herrada is involing into a classics type of guy and have they resigned Amador? He and Anacona must be retained, Ana is.
That leaves a kinda big void for some great mountain domestiques/GC-guys for lesser races - Landa is obviously ideal, but I think Valls will be the big signing here as that kinda guy. Im not too sold on Nieve, but if the money is right, get him an offer. I think he still has at least one solid year as a usefull mountain domestique with say 20 left in TdF, but Im kinda fearing another Antón scenario. Surely, if Landa is open though, he should be the go to guy without a single doubt.
No matter what tough, I hope they sign Betancur. He wont fit the climber domestique, rather an extremely talented guy for a bargain potentially, filling in some lesser stage races, ardennes and potentially Giro. If any team is able to get him right, I think Movistar is.
Urán is off, so they despereately needs to get 2 of those guys imo. Also look towards Caja Rural for some decent talent to round of the roster

Rumours from tonight episode of Radiocorsa

-Modolo won't sign with Etixx but stay at Lampre
-Saronni (Lampre) said that is close to sign a young (foreign) gt talent that has potential to finish in the top 10 of TDF next year
-Lotto-Jumbo is interested in Battaglin since they have a good relationship with the rider's agent and Bianchi would like an italian rider
-A.Carera was a guest and he say that next saturday him and Nibali will be flying to Astana to meet Kazakh cycling federation and discuss plans for 2016. Asked if this is because Nibali want out of Astana team he denied, since it's almost impossible to convince the kazakhs to let him go in 2016...

I think Ruben Fernandez is quite a talent and he seems to have the potential for improvement.

Say what?! How many of those exist? Why does a guy like that to Lampre? Who could it be?

It's weird I know. Carera said he know the name and would be a perfect fit for the team considering their budget. Maybe Meintjes or Kudus

Kudus doesn't have the potential to get top 10 in the Tour next year. Meintjes fits the description better, although top 10 is a long shot. More teams wanting him and have more money. Read Barguil somewhere, but can't see him leaving Giant, nor Lampre having the best deal for him.

Kragh is going to a WT team next year but which one is still unknown.

Mads Würtz hasnt signed yet and his DS Ricky Enø (who is very well-liked by riders like Würtz, Kamp and other young riders from Coloquick) says that he is in talks with Würtz because he wants him to stay one more year and he thinks that will be the best thing for his development but they will gladly let him go if he gets an offer he can't refuse from a WT or PCT team.
I guess with his recent win in l'Avenir he will be watched by a lot of teams.

If it wasn't for foreign it would've thought of Formolo immediately.

Jan Hirt still has a contract and ain't no TdF top 10 material so far.

Who could that be?

Edith says Barguil has got a contract for next year ain't he? Would Pete Kennaugh still be considered a talent or is he resigned already?

I mean no way on earth it's Landa. Impossible.
