No way Cav is joining that group of has-beens at MTN after enjoying the support of massive teams like Sky and Etixx.

Lefavre should ditch Boonen and free up some funds.

Cav will feel at home with the rest of the has-beens at MTN.

When you talk about massive support from big teams, I would just stick to his times at Highroad/Colombia/HTC and Etixx but not sure about his time at Sky. He would surely have a bigger support as a sprinter at Dimension Data Qhubeka (it's their future name I presume) than at Sky.

Nelson Oliveira (Lampre) to Movistar! Very solid addition to the team.

They want to create a TTT team? Oliveira, Castroviejo, Dowsett, Malori..
Izagirre brothers, Erviti... quite a few good engines there.

Movistar definetely has one of the better rouleur-teams out there, but unfortunately still need climbing depth in the GT's. Especially apparent in the Vuelta..

That's also the reason why they are such a good pick for the TTT in Richmond, but nobody really talks about them, likewise the Tour.

Well, that's due to their team choice.

Gorka Izagirre, Jesús Herrada, José Herrada, Ion Izagirre, Beñat Intxausti, John Gadret, Jonathan Castroviejo, Eros Capecchi, Igor Antón, Ruben Fernández, Winner Anacona.

All of them only did one or no GT this season, and some of them displayed good form in Limousin, Great Britain, etc. One or two in the Vuelta team would surely improve their squad.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. They chose to have a rouleur-based team for the vuelta where they could have had much more depths in terms of climbing abilities.

Anton and Gadret are way past their prime, Ion, Jose, Jesus, Castro, Capecchia, Gorka and Ruben are fine, but not really good in high mountains -yet, for some of them I hope. Only Anacona and Intxausti, somewhat along with Visconto, can make a real difference uphill. Along with Amador who clearly wasnt close to anything in the Vuelta and honestly, still is a bit more of a rouleur than.

I know its about choices, but I still feel they need more firepower in the mountains, especially the Tour, if Quintana wants to win since Valverde probably wont devote himself 100%. Ruben Fernandez and Intxausti along with Anacona could be those, but at least one of them will do the Giro, probably both Ruben and Benat.
