Dan Mclay to Sky? Would make a lot of sense with him riding so well and him being British

And instead give up awesome team that works solely for him in sprints? Nah..

In few years maybe, but definitely not anytime soon. Sky already has Viviani and Van Poppel.

S.Yates and A.Yates have been offered contracts by OBE - I have no definitive answer whether they stay or go - They've been given the opportunity to lead GC at the Giro and Vuelta - OBE usually announce the re-signing of riders later in the year as this is how the organisation rolls.

Ideally OBE wants to make only a few changes to their roster - Whether this happens is in the 'Lap of Gods' - It's possible that S.Yates will take some form of legal action against OBE.

* It would make a lot of sense for Sky

I agree its probbaly not best for Dan's career but I can see it happening

While it would make a lot of sense to have a good British sprinter in their ranks I cant but think that it would be a bad move for McClay given Sky's preference for GC orientated teams especially at the tour. They already have Viviani for the Giro and Von Poppel looks as if hes riding the Vuelta. McClay seems to be forging a good niche for himself at Fortuneo at the moment and his tour sprints are earning him a lot of admiration so I feel that remaining with Fortuneo would be a better move, guaranteed Tour selection every year, get some results and build up your palmares and then make a move to another team further down the line perhaps a BMC....I feel if he went to sky he could possibly go down the same route as Ben Swift, a forgotten rider who hasnt seen any Grand Tour action in the past number of years despite his speed.

Also any news on Roche for the coming season, he wants more opportunities to attack and ride for himself and has stated he has done the 'domestique' thing for four years and wants his own opportunities to race for himself again, albeit stages I cant see him going back to GC aspirations anymore. Given the depth of Sky's talent pool I think a move is on the cards again perhaps BMC/ Trek / Bora?

I agree Sky isn't the place for sprinters, but Swift is barely a sprinter. He's been so ravaged by injuries it hurts him to sprint, so his only really big sprinting target is MSR, and apart from that he's essentially a climbing domestique or allowed to go for the overall in smaller races like Coppi e Bartali.

I was just about to say "despite his speed"???

As a big fan of the two of them i want them to stay at Orica. They are transitioning into 2 teams with having riders for the leadout and more riders to support the Yates twins and Chaves.

But in a few years when Froome isn't quite as good as he is now, i would bet my house that Sky try to sign 1 or both (not sure if they would sign Simon now) as the majority of Sky's fanbase is British and it makes sense for them to have the best British GC riders if there are any capable of winning the tour.
I'm of the opinion that Adam and Simon could win the tour. Most riders improve massively as they get older, plus Sky's training methods can help get more out of their riders.

^^ If that rumor of Canyon-Alpecin is true, you're right. Let's make a list of what we know, to summarize

Fixed:

AG2R - Focus
BMC - BMC
Cannondale Drapac - Cannondale
Dimension Data - Cervelo
EtixxQS - Specialized
FDJ - Lapierre
Lotto Soudal (BE) - Ridley
OricaBE - Scott
Sky - Pinarello
Trek Segafredo - Trek

Open/Rumour:

Astana - ? (Bianchi?)
Bahrain - ? (most likely Merida, Lampre stepping down to PC)
Movistar - ? (most likely no Canyon anymore)
Lotto Jumbo (NL) - ? (still Bianchi?)
Subweb Giant - Giant
Canyon Alpecin - Canyon
Bora Hansgrohe - ? (Specialized, if Sagan?)

Agree with your post - Reckon better for Yates to sign a one year contract as you get a good idea of a riders capability after 4 years in the peleton.

Astana might just sign Big Phil and consolidate their future around Aru and Lopez without handing out that big paychecks to other riders anymore I guess.
That would probably be smart, sgn Phil and maybe a few quality domestiques and the team is ok.

OricaBE - Scott
^ 100% wrong

Source?

A mate who works on the fringes of another WT team suggested Scott would become a co-title sponsor ie Orica - Scott.

I'm not sure how long the Bike Exchange agreement is for? It doesn't say on the press release anywhere

According to Telegraaf Lotto-Jumbo extends the contract of Kruijswijk until 2018. He will have additional high mountain support.

For the cobbled classics they will either extend Vanmarcke or sign Boom.
