I agree its probbaly not best for Dan's career but I can see it happening

I agree Sky isn't the place for sprinters, but Swift is barely a sprinter. He's been so ravaged by injuries it hurts him to sprint, so his only really big sprinting target is MSR, and apart from that he's essentially a climbing domestique or allowed to go for the overall in smaller races like Coppi e Bartali.

Ideally OBE wants to make only a few changes to their roster - Whether this happens is in the 'Lap of Gods' - It's possible that S.Yates will take some form of legal action against OBE.

As a big fan of the two of them i want them to stay at Orica. They are transitioning into 2 teams with having riders for the leadout and more riders to support the Yates twins and Chaves.
But in a few years when Froome isn't quite as good as he is now, i would bet my house that Sky try to sign 1 or both (not sure if they would sign Simon now) as the majority of Sky's fanbase is British and it makes sense for them to have the best British GC riders if there are any capable of winning the tour.
I'm of the opinion that Adam and Simon could win the tour. Most riders improve massively as they get older, plus Sky's training methods can help get more out of their riders.
That would probably be smart, sgn Phil and maybe a few quality domestiques and the team is ok.staubsauger said:Astana might just sign Big Phil and consolidate their future around Aru and Lopez without handing out that big paychecks to other riders anymore I guess.
