EQS yeah, that will be a goodie. Sky probably... Movistar? All about the Don unless Betancur shreds those kilos and gets back into the groove which seems unlikely at this point as much as I'd like it.
I like EQS signing Gilbert, him and Boonen on the same that, yummy.

Bahrein-Merida out of WT if Lampre (or what will be next season) keeps his place.claude cat said:I wonder what this means for the transfer market?

Why though? There are 17 spots and Tinkoff and IAM are leaving. Although I suppose Bora wants to step up as well.Nirvana said:Bahrein-Merida out of WT if Lampre (or what will be next season) keeps his place.claude cat said:I wonder what this means for the transfer market?

Bora is almost certain of his spot, i think it's impossible that Sagan will left out of WT.LaFlorecita said:Why though? There are 17 spots and Tinkoff and IAM are leaving. I'd be so happy if Lampre stayed WT, but I'm worried the team will lose it's identity with a Chinese owner. The Galbusera family have been the owners of Lampre for so long

So if Lampre (or what will be) keeps a licence for the next year and UCI have to choose between Bora and Bahrein-Merida for the last spot available it's an obvious choice.
Wasn't it stated that the amount of WT teams would be reduced to 17 in 2017 and 16 in 2018? I'm not sure but I think I've read something like that.TMP402 said:I don't see why they have to make a choice. IAM and Tinkoff are leaving, Bora and Bahrain want to join. Two out, two in.
