Reckon Howson may have added a few more $$$ to his price-tag after that ride to set up Chaves ...... may not have gone un-noticed by other teams as well.

Certainly does deserve a pay bump which is why I think we've heard no announcement of him re-signing yet, I think he'll stay with OBE as he's valuable and looks to work well with Chaves but they are just working out the details.

Possibly the standout domestique of the year considering his Giro and Vuelta rides combined. OBE's next headline sponsor is going to need serious $$$ come July 2017, with Chaves, Plaza and others on the market.

Contador in fucsia. I can live with that.
Yeah although if their kit is as presented when the deal was announced, it will be a dark blue/purple with fuchsia accents, unfortunately :( definitely much better than Trek pinstripes though

Except that the shirt will not be as presented there: TJ-Sports are not the sponsoring company, they are the consultancy charged with finding the sponsor. Sponsor's/sponsors' identity, and so their colours, are as yet unknown.

But also unlikely to have as much fuchsia as we have enjoyed (?) in the recent past.

Honestly though shouldn't Lampre be after him for his WT points? There are not a lot of good riders left on the market. They showed interest earlier and they have the cash now, they could even throw 5mln at him. Come on Berto, make my dream come true :) (ok, ultimate dream would be Berto at Bardiani or riding with his young boys at ProConti level, but that's not going to happen, obviously)

Contador will be riding for Trek next season, that deal is done
Well, apparently not, unless you have inside info?

No inside info on this one, I just think the deals done and they were waiting until after the Vuelta to officially announce it and all we are getting about him going to a different team is just gossip as the Transfer news is a little quiet at the moment. This is all just my own opinion so could be completely wrong on it :)

Chavez is contracted for 2018 - 2017 is probably Plaza's last year.

Kenny Elissonde has apparently signed for Sky:

Great pick up and a good domestique for Froome.

In fact I think it is an awful signing. He has never performed outside the Vuelta (please correct me if I am wrong) and it is much more the kind of "jumping into breakaways guy" than a domestique. Hope he proves me wrong.

Big GC teams send riders into breakaways too so it can workout for him and Sky.

You're all giving it too much respect. For me, it's Sky getting good publicity for the Tour.

He's also must be the worst guy for drafting behind in the peloton. He's tiny and climbs even the steepest gradients in that ridiculously unnecessary aero position. Froome would still be taking most of the wind following him - not ideal for a domestique.

Please not Kenny

As a Sky fan I say good on him, a lot of riders from traditional cycling nations are afraid to step out of their comfort zone and this would Kenny doing exactly that. The staff and several riders are fluent French speakers and the new more structured environment & the best GT rider in the peloton to learn from is on paper a fantastic environment for a young rider. Granted he will have to a lot of donkey work, but I feel this could be a great move for him.
