Kadri hasn't shown anything in the last 24 months. Minard is getting old, Gaudin and Turgot never were able to showcase their presumed classics potential with Ag2r and Daniel is just a third-tier sprinter who barely wins races. They all would suit Fortuneo or Delko-Marseille, but Ag2r needs better riders to support Bardet, Bakelants and the other big names.

Agreed. Gaudin was decent in supporting Bardet on the flat+cobbled stages in last year's Tour and Minard is a great road captain + still able to place top 20 in the cobbled classics with some luck but getting too old.

Kadri, Turgot, Riblon and Daniel have not been contributing neither in breakaways nor as domestiques far enough into races to warrant new contracts.

With yet another crop of promising youngsters (Peters, Cosnefroy, Paret-Peintre, Geniets etc.) coming through plus upgrading with Vandenbergh, Frank, Geniez and Naesen this is some necessary trimming of the fat from their roster, Hopefully with better luck than previous supposed upgrade for their classics squad of Vansummeren and the aforementioned two signees for Europcar.

With Nordhaug as captain, plus other decent and interesting riders like Denifl, Howard, Kreder, Koning and Brammeier, they are going to have a decent team.

The climber they are talking about could be Zoidl? There are not many climbers left on the market coming from WT.

I wonder if Denifl is the climber they were talking about? Not exactly a 'top level climber' (or however they described the signing), but that might have just been hyperbole on their part...?

Still, that's a solid team they're building, and could show themselves well in a number of races...

Offredo rumoured to leave FDJ and joining Wanty

Why are FDJ getting rid of him? Class rider imo

It could be that he wants the chance to ride for himself.

On Sporza they said a while ago that Offredo started riding on the level FDJ expected from him late in the season but already had their roster lined-up for next season, so it was too late to offer him a new contract. I hope what you say is true, because the Sporza explanation sounds like a lot of BS to me.

And why for the love of God is Turbo Durbo resigning with Orica? He should definitely ride for a team from the Low Countries and be a freakin' sensation.

Still nothing re J-Macarthy?

Interesting because Tinkoff have finished their committments so he is free to announce a new team, if indeed he has a new team.

Reckon he would be a great fit for OBE but alas they are super fussy when selecting Aussie riders.

Could you expand on that?

Simply OBE wants the best bike riders in the team - Being Australian doesn't get you a free pass.
