Danish cycling pundits speculating Fuglsang might go to Trek, to reunite with his old DS Kim Andersen...... especially if this years tour puts Contador out of contention for good.

Trek would do well to invest in a young GC rider.
With Contador going for (most likely) Giro-Vuelta next year and Mollema for the Tour, I don't see much room for Fuglsang (I believe he wants to lead).

With Contador going for (most likely) Giro-Tour next year and Mollema for the Tour, I don't see much room for Fuglsang (I believe he wants to lead).

If Contador loses big this year, I don't think he'll attempt the tour again.

Mollema to me is a questionmark, I don't think he'll ever hit the podium in a GT, and is better off being the top domestique for a contender........ but then, a month ago, I would have said the same of Fuglsang

They might very well both stay.... if they work togehter as beautifully in the tour, as they did in the Dauphine, with no egos getting in the way, they will be a serious threat in any stage race, because they have different riding styles, that complement eachother.

There is no if. That is given. He was able to confuse Trek and get a contract somehow convincing them that he still is a Tour contender. Now that his best bro got busted, there is no chance the old dog will even podium at this race.

Contador didn't even know Cardoso before this year, sure they get along well but "best bro", really...
Trek were so confused when they saw Contador's numbers at the first training camp that they sent Mollema off to the Giro and Contador to the Tour.

Aru apparently wants €3 million a year, Astana's budget has been nearly cut in half due to the oil price so I doubt that they will go near that. Sky have had interest in the past, Trek have Italian sponsors, UAE is very Italian who I suspect would be very interested and probably favourites.

Aru to UAE seems more than legit. They lack a serious GT contender and already have a nice nest of Italians. Could defo see UAE defying Bahrain with the other Italian top tier rider.

I would not touch ARU for 3million. This tour will show his value. I would sign Chaves for 2million. Or Superman Lopez for 1.5million. Formilo would be an interesting signing he has to improve the TT.
