According to La Gazzetta Formolo to Bora is almost a done deal, Bahrain are in talks with Pozzovivo and Meintjes. With Copeland as a DS Meintjes would be the logical option, he was the reason why he signed with Lampre, Pozzovivo will probably wait until the Vuelta ends to sign a new contract.

Telefonica is going all in apparently..

Does that mean Quintana is going?

Ok I'm sure Movistar can manage for one year splitting the goals but both can't go to the TDF together and that will happen eventually ...

They only have to do it for 2. Quintana has a contract until end of 2019. Article says Landa will be Giro leader.

Why wouldn't they both be able to ride for the team?

Landa needs to win a Giro or Vuelta first anyway, before he can rival an in-form Quintana, for captancy at the Tour.

Likely that Cam Meyer will return to Orica Scott on a three year contract but still has eyes for track gold at Tokyo 2020.

Article in Adelaide newspaper but don't have a link sorry. Great news, big fan of Cam and the article goes on to say how he's re-gained passion fr cycling through working with the guys in the Aust development team.

SIX years after winning the Tour Down Under, Cameron Meyer is on the verge of stepping back up to cycling’s
WorldTour. The eight-time track world champion is poised to rejoin Australian team Orica-Scott. Meyer has been in talks with the team and the door is believed to be open for him to return two years after he was squeezed ut.
It’s understood Meyer and the team have agreed to a three-year deal but he remains committed to the track for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
Orica-Scott general manager Shayne Bannan confirmed there had been “really great discussions” and Meyer’s
manager Wayne Evans said a deal had been done for him to return to the sport’s top tier on the road, but he would not confirm with which team. “Really great discussions, we had chats with Cam at one of his races and then he came to the office for a day just to catch up with everybody,” Bannan told The Advertiser this week. “I’m sure that will go in the right direction but it’snot confirmed yet.

That's weird. Clicking through from Google I don't get a pay wall. Direct link does give it.

August Jensen very close to joining Israel Cycling Academy according to reputable procycling.no. Has had a good first half the season and late bloomer who could perform decently on lower-level pro conti-races. But his agent stating that Cannondale were interested still reeks of BS

Orica seem to give Reece Homfrey one exclusive each year detailing one of their new signings.

Sepulveda has signed for Movistar now
I love this.

He has been underwhelming the last two seasons. Did not expect him to move to movistar (or is it the South American conti team :) )

It's the WT team, but it's definitely a sponsor demand, like other random south americans they've had before.
Back in 2011 the sponsor first asked for one rider on the squad from each spanish speaking south american country except bolivia. The team eventually talked them out of it.

His results have really gone downhill since 2015.

I think it makes a lot of sense actually, if he's decided to let go of aspirations of becoming a real leader. He's likely intended to be a lower to mid slopes domestique in the mountains, after the riders like Jesús Herrada, Erviti and co. but before someone like Soler or Fernández, development willing, acting as the final sidekick to whichever of the leaders are at a given race. Playing a similar role to, say, Javi Moreno in years past or Victor de la Parte currently. Only Sepúlveda is a significant upgrade against the clock compared to them and would be a useful hand in a TTT as a result, enabling them to strengthen that without sacrificing climbing help. His results on climbs run the gamut from the likes of Mont Faron to much longer, drawn out climbs like Elmali. And he's shown decent skills for hilly races like the Tour du Doubs and And of course it's good for Telefonica, with Argentina being one of the most populous countries of South America. Unzué was interested in him a couple of years ago because he has the right kind of characteristics; he might only lead a few pre-season or secondary races but he'll be a useful helper across a range of terrains. They may well have something akin to Amador's role in mind for him although the Costa Rican is obviously first choice in that role as things stand.
