A change of scenery should do Sepulveda well, obvious potential which hasn't been fulfilled yet, probably cheap and an upgrade on the likes of De La Parte as pointed out.

Don't think I've seen this mentioned, Eiking will leave FDJ at the end of his neo-pro contract, both parties reporting that the Franch method and mentality hasn't suited his personality. Dimension Data and Trek reported as suitors, probably hitting form just in time to get another chance in the WT.

Peter Kennaugh to Bora, didn't see that coming (see news page of this site)
Woah...
How did that happen? Sky let him go. :surprised:

He hasn't been to the Tour since 2013. Not a surprise at all, there has been rumours of him looking at others before. He was heavily rumoured to go to BMC in 2015.

DNF stage 16 in 2015,
Pete was denied to focus on the Giro twice in a row. I guess he wasn't charmed about that and is eyeing a free role at either the Giro or the Tour now with Bora. As a stage hunter I feel there are still some big checks to earn for him I feel. Especially at the Giro IMHO.

Yes, he has the ability to be at least another Cummings - a high profile stage-hunter. Both Olympic medal winning team pursuiters, can both climb and TT, though I'd say Kennaugh is punchier and has a better sprint. On the other hand if he can put together a few months of good health and is trusted with leadership, maybe he's the future big-race winner some thought he might become.
