He seems to have high expectations, that's pretty nice. Plus, he will have a free role on one-day races and small stage ones I guess. If I remember Katusha team properly, they don't have a punchy rider like he is. So why not.

Now I wanna see more gossips about DD transfers. Any clue?

They are rumored to sign Julien Vermote from Quick-Step, and the rumors of Louis Meintjes returning to the team have been going on for a while, though I haven't heard about that in a few days.

They have Lammertink, but Haas is better.

True, I forgot about him but to me Haas has definitely more potential. His early season was pretty good, especially around Amstel.

Thanks. I've indeed heard Meintjes rumors here and there. Still waiting for confirmation, it would be nice.

To be fair, I just feel that DD has focused (too) heavily around Cavendish. Luckily they have EBH to do the job on more various terrain. IMO they lack a bit of depth.

Sounds really good for Fortuneo. They really need some old glories or average domestiques to step-up.

Sénéchal to QST
Good singing?

He's a decent prospect for small classic-like races (Samyn, Hageland, typically the Belgian Cup races). QST lost Boonen and the likes of Stybar/Terpstra are now aging and look a bit past their prime (they are still among the best classic riders, no offense there). That addition can't be bad for them. Great for him in terms of glory but he will lose his protected role he had at Cofidis.

But does he sing well?

At least he can improve going to Quick Step.

I thought about this a few days ago, I can't remember any guy who improved anything of notice while in Cofidis.

Taaramäe, Gallopin and Keukeleire were at Cofidis and are more than ok riders. But you're right overall, Cofidis is not the best team at developing promising riders. Good choice from him!

Yes, but while they were at Cofidis, there wasn't any significative improvement of that riders. Mpaybe only Taaramäe improved a bit, but didn't make the jump that was expected for him. As far as I remember, Gallopin and Keukeleire upped their game only when they joined RadioShack and GreenEdge.

It's quite a well known fact that Cofidis massively overpays and at the same time underdevelops its riders. They're a haven especially for quite-alright-but-not-really-great sprinters from Belgium like Vanbilsen, van Genechten, van Staeyen, Verhelst - or anyone named Turgis.

It's a commonly held belief in the french peloton for around 10 years now that Cofidis have absolutely the worst coaches.

But Boyer won't be dissuaded because he's one of those people who won't entertain the notion that he might be wrong.

Senechal - finally! He was so lost at Cofidis. Although there may be bigger stars at Quick-Step before him, the team rides in a way that tends to create opportunities for almost everyone on the team. I really hope he will be able to restart his once so promising career.

Dan Benson tweeted it last night, expected to be announced soon.
