To answer both, yours and my own question: No, there will be no more signings for QS. But Capecchi is on the official roster for next season, so it is 27 in total.

Still a very solid team with Gilbert, Terpstra, Lampaert, Gaviria, Stybar, Sénéchal,.. all hoping for a spot in the cobbled squad. Gilbert is obviously keen on MSR and Paris Roubaix. Their GC aspirations must be tempered with the loss of Martin. I don't think Mas is ready to fill his shoes yet.

They've brought in alot of young guys the past couple of years. I quite like that.

With regards to Quickstep, I hope they can convince Ala to ride the Giro and Vuelta to prepare for the WC and send Jungels to ride the TDF as their GC leader. The route should suit him, he seems more sturdy than other GC contenders so hopefully can handle the cobbles ok and i'm sick of seeing him at the Giro pulling for whatever sprinter is there (most likely it would occur in the TDF too, but he deserves the opportunity to ride there).

Yes, Jungels is leading le Tour with Gaviria if everything goes according to plan. Alaphilippe at the Giro seems unlikely.

I guess that Viviani wil finally ride the Giro with a proper train and maybe we'll also see Mas and a few of their young guys at the Giro.
DD have resigned all the ritreans but Teklehaimanot, maybe EF Drapac will pick him up or one of the PCT squads that is riding a gt, Androni for example, could sign him.

U23 European TT champ and Tour de l'Avenir stage winner Kasper Asgreen extends with Team Virtu in Denmark.

I'm surprised not even a PCT team took him on, I think he is at least as deserving a PCT contact as Michael Carbel was, although I understand the Carbel appeal, given he is a much faster finisher so could accumulate more results. But I thought in winning GP Viborg and the l'Avenir stage Asgreen might have shown enough for someone to take a chance on him. He turns 23 in February too, so can't use races like l'Avenir to attract attention anymore. Hopefully he shows his form in the Norwegian and Danish stage races in 2018 and earns a pro deal for 2019.

Apparently he (thought) he had an agreement with a WT team, only then he didn't. Seems like a spoken agreement that never actually got written down.

In other Danish-related transfer news; the guy with possibly one of the worst names for international sport - Nicolai Brøchner - has signed for Holowesko.

More like Rebellin4ever. This guy will never stop ... and I love it. He even won a race late last year with 46. You gotta admire that determination to keep training and all the stuff required to be a pro. Some guys give up after 10 years but he just keeps going and going. Amazing rider and I wish him best of luck for the next season.

Rebellin is the JLo of cycling and Noriaki Kasai is the Naomi Campbell of ski jumping. All 4 keep me believing the 90s really are like 5 years ago. Thank you for that lady's and gentlemen.

Davide himself says that he has no life besides cycling, sometimes I don't know if I should just respect his love for cycling or feel sad for him.

I respect his dedication and professionalism, which seems to be matched only by that of Valverde, but obviously it will have to end eventually, perhaps he will come to terms with that in time.
