Yes lefevere does this every year so we ll see.....
Caruso to bahrain confirmed. Very nice signing for the team which has apparently no trouble to attract very good riders despite only existing for a year and a half. They had a lot of filler in their first year to reach a full roster but these days are over. Quite impressive when you take into account that they only have a 18 mil budget.

Caruso and Dennis are both good signings.

Vital Concept is hiring some very accomplished, big names riders, but question is how much they have left. Its nice to have a good PCT team tho, we have really missed that in recent years.

It will be interesting to see how Wanty will react. They definetly want to go to the Tour next year since it starts in Brussels. I can see them hiring Bouhanni.

I mixed Fortuneo and Vital Concept up - still, both teams have a couple of nice sprinters and climbers now. Cofidis should be in, DE could get snubbed. It will be very competitive.

Wait, so Rolland signed with Fortuneo?

DE are aiming to move to Worldtour, so it might not be a problem for them...

Carlos Verona move to Movistar confirmed
I have always liked Verona and have felt like some of his talent has been wasted. Looking forward to see him, he is a solid domestique that I hope will develop into a rider that also can do something on his own.

Will probably be support for Pinot in the Tour (or an other GC). Lets see if he can go stage hunting there, otherwise he still has the TTs. FDJ has a good overall squad though. Already this year they would have had 3 guys in the Giro top20 in the final GC if not for Pinots illness.

Don't forget the cobbled classics, he could be a team leader in those.

G has told BBC Sport that he's confident that his new Sky deal will be sorted in the next few days. Hardly surprising and barely worthy of a 'News' thread, but there you go.

PCS has Maxim Pirard listed as a Bahrein-Merida trainee, does anyone know something about this kid?
So apparently he's a gran fondo/track/endurance rider. He won a gran fondo in the alps after which he qualified for the WC where he got third.
He was recommended by DS Verbrugghe who saw him riding in kermesses and gran fondos and who was amazed by his power output.
