Lets see if he can go stage hunting there, otherwise he still has the TTs. FDJ has a good overall squad though. Already this year they would have had 3 guys in the Giro top20 in the final GC if not for Pinots illness.
Cool. I think that'll be a nice team for him.Der Effe said:Boaro from Bahrain to Astana. 2-year contract.
Good to see them signing decent riders like Valgren and Kreuziger. They need more riders to perform when Cavendish no longer delivers.Ricco' said:Kreuziger to Dimension Data
Valv.Piti said:Wonder where Sosa will go. Trek makes sense, but I guess every single team on the WT is interested in his signature. He is ready to go WT early and get a role like Egan at this first year at Sky, but skipping the Tour and doing Vuelta instead I think. He won't do as well since I simply don't think he is as talented, but he is still an amazing talent.
They also need someone to lead by example for O’Connor and Meintjes if they want to achieve more than they have in climbing heavy races. Maybe his work ethic might rub off on those perennial underachievers Lachlan Morton and Merhawi Kudus as well.Anderis said:Good to see them signing decent riders like Valgren and Kreuziger. Hopefully this is the start of Di Data becoming more than pack fill.

The guy only gets good results right after he comes back from a break and is training in Eritrea, at the start of the season or before Burgos, so I don't think that his work ethic is the problem.
Good point on Kudus’ results, I hadn’t really picked up on that trend. Either way, it’s sad to think that these two were once seen as potential superstars of the sport, yet disappear in World Tour races. If the team dynamic is more successful hopefully it rubs off.Mayomaniac said:What?42x16ss said:They also need someone to lead by example for O’Connor and Meintjes if they want to achieve more than they have in climbing heavy races. Speaking of Kudus, he's also out of contract and I think that riding for a different team could be a good choice for him (and the other Eritreans).

Hansen himself says he's not negotiating with the English team.
So I guess it's 50/50 where he ends up. I don't think there has ever been a Dane at FDJ and in this millennium there hasn't been one on AG2R either.
