And in other news, on the Cycling Podcast, they reported that both EF & Ineos will be setting up women's teams
Boels Dolmans are looking for a new sponsor, I don't think this will take long.Surprised Sky hadn't done this a few years back. Money wise it should be easy for them and it's good publicity and great for image. I imagine Deignan will be integral in any plan for them
Would Deignan go back there I wonder.I assume she left on good termsBoels Dolmans are looking for a new sponsor, I don't think this will take long.
A story came out about retiring after Tokyo but she said it's not true but in a maybe maybe not kinda politician way. With Phil at home to look after the kid and a good paycheck from India who knowsDeignan’s Retiring, isn’t she?
Typical shaky & inconsistent EF signing.Ruben Guerreiro confirmed to a portuguese newspaper he is moving to EF on a 2 year deal.
They could have done it from inception, with Skyter Shipping withdrawing and killing Nürnberger, They'd have had a British leader as well. But they weren't interested, because British Cycling never got on with Nicole Cooke. They weren't interested in the women, despite all their PR bluster to the contrary, but then suddenly they were making noises about setting up a team when Lizzie went into dominant mode in 2015-16. Then they went quiet again (funny that), notwithstanding that Lizzie was happy enough at Boels at the time and had little interest in joining a start-up at that point. After her baby break obviously the situation changed, she probably didn't have the same position of strength within Boels afterward, seeing as obviously nobody knew her level after a year out and with Boels having such strength in depth - plus it was perhaps the lure of a new challenge which she hadn't wanted in 2016 because after her 2015 season, why would she ever want things to change?Surprised Sky hadn't done this a few years back. Can't remember who it was but I read an interview with a woman who proposed a continental based women's cycling team liked to the British Cycling Olympic program. The suits agreed but changed her idea into a men's team and Sky was born. They could have done it from inception, with Skyter Shipping withdrawing and killing Nürnberger, They'd have had a British leader as well. The moment when Corendon signs three guys Movistar could've used.I haven't seen it posted here (sorry if it was): Vakoc, De Tier and Leysen should join Corendon.
Trois renforts, dont un précieux pour Van Der Poel, chez Corendon-Circus?
Le puncheur pourra être bien utile au champion néerlandais.www.sportsactu.be
Movistar could have a very tough year next year.
They already have MovistarCheers. Would be nice if Ineos could set up a development team as well to replace Wiggins. I think the deadline is next Friday for any new teams wanting to register with the UCI?
Outside of Mas and Soler they may be very weak. They've let far too many rouleurs leave in the last few years without replacing them.Movistar could have a very tough year next year.

Maybe Amador has had enough of working his a$$ off for team leaders with no end result and team tactics that are nauseating. Or it could just be for the money.
