no rider would sign for a sponsorless team, surely..

Actually it's much more common than signing until the sponsorship ends. It gives the rider the best of both worlds: if the team continues he has a contract at a team where he feels comfortable, otherwise he's free to find a team

Slovakia's got talent

Just noticed Liquigas that neo-pro Sagan who has been climbing punchy Ardennes style hills with Valverde and Evans at the TdU, got second at the Junior Paris-Roubaix in 2008.

Anyone want to put bets on the 2012 Ronde or LBL?

Good roster...I hope for good things. I had a feeling Beppu would not be there...why would they want him? Beppu has fallen a little in my eyes after this situation...

Beppu is a moron. Because if Skil get a Tour invite then he has a perfect chance of riding the Tour, at The Shack he has buckley's chance (ie none) of riding the Tour.

Sky's Geraint Thomas. he can do plenty of damage this year in prologues and TT's and was arguably the strongest member of the UK Olympic gold medal track pursuit team. i dont see him beating Cancellara or getting close this year but a very strong rider for the future in this form of cycling.
