Letter is from McQuaid to Kash's attorney. Basically says that in reply to the attorney's Dec 16 letter, the UCI has decided not to oppose Kash's return to cycling, pending a decision by the CAS on the Vinokourov and Rasmussen affairs. (Which I think is in reference to Vino and the Chicken not paying back a year's salary for having been caught doping.)

That's quiet a big family! :D

Mauro.

And they're all sprinters. And two of them rode for Panaria.

There's also the Haedo brothers who are all sprinters...and the Borrajo brothers who are all sprinters.

It's an oligarchy in argentinian cycling :D

Gibo Simoni might add another year to his awesome career ( \o/ ).

His currently negotiating with Meridiana-Kamen about a contract for 2010.

Meriadana are hardly likely to participate in the big races though - if Simoni signs for them, it would probably mean he has accepted that he is not going to find a team who wants him who also are likely to ride the Giro - therefore making 2009 his last Giro, barring a surprise move in 2011.

there is no Allan Davis in 27-man QuickStep-2010 roster. Does it mean that QuickStep released him?

Hi. If Quick Step can't pay him, and he's not on their roster, it would make sense that he should be free. He has announced he'll be in the Tour Down Under. We'll see if he brings the new Team Astana it's first victory for 2010.

REIGNING Tour Down Under champion Allan Davis has declared he would be on the start line for a record 12th time in Adelaide after facing a legal battle to be cleared to a new ProTour team.

Davis said he was set to make an announcement within 48 hours.

"I'll be there," Davis said.

However, Astana is yet to name its roster for the Santos TDU.

The team also will be one of the final UCI ProTour teams to arrive in Adelaide for the event, with Astana scheduled to land at Adelaide Airport on January 14 - three days before the Cancer Council Helpline Classic at Rymill Park.

The only thing stopping the Sky move was Katusha, so yeh, if they have let up the move will be on
