I've been wondering as well if they are related but in Vicenza and local area it's a common surname.

I also noticed both were born in Marostica. Then again, there are 3 pros from this area with the same last name as me, and they're not related to me or each other, so it's no guarantee of anything :)

A great signing by Rabobank IMO...was kinda surprised that the talented rider didn't get a pro contract this season, but maybe Adria Mobil needed him for the early part of the season....

really glad about this, was hoping he'd sign for the senior squad... or not considering rabo tactics, but as long as he got into a good team where he can race some of these big races I was happy :p Anywhu is a big talent imo.

would like to see van poppel and Tom Jelte Slagter make the move up to.

Van Poppel... meh, don't know. Slagter still needs to get some more results. Jetse Bol is who they need to sign.

yes I was gonna mention him too. Another ride with huge potential.

I think Van Poppel is real quick. Has beaten Farrar and Cavendish in sprints before.

I'd like to see him at Vacansoleil, but I don't doubt that the money will be better at RadioShack. No doubt his market value dropped this year, though.
