"It's difficult weeks for us, so this victory is really for my teammates and for our staff, to show we don't agree with all this *** and we want to continue Soudal Quick-Step. We are strong enough and I hope it will be like this."

Nah, pin pointing this on Rogla is in my opinion a rather biased view. Both Slovenians are equally responsible for not winning today. Better yet, other riders involved, riders not that good in sprint, should try earlier today. Like Carapaz did and profited from it.
It’s a standard case of chasing-group syndrome, so there’s not a single rider responsible for letting the gap go out—it’s a law of the universe

I'm just saying he rode exactly like Valverde would have done.
Yeah, and there's nothing wrong with that. He didn't screw up anything. This race just isn't hard enough, he can't shake Pogacar on this gradients, he would only expose himself if he had attacked, he would not win, and on top of everything he would probably hand a win to Pogacar or someone else. Plus, this is not a race where you would go all out, a monument is around the corner.

We all know Valverde would only race like this in small races.

Roglic and Pog have won a tonne of races this year, the others haven’t won anything. Yet the forum attacks Roglic hmmnn

I'm not attacking him, I'm just saying it's a little bit funny that the posters who love Roglic used to hate Valverde, yet their riding styles are quite similar.

I like Roglic too, by the way. But he was focusing too much on Pogi today rather than trying to win the race.
