It was hard to see on this crappy video, but I think Trentin was wearing Etixx bibs.

There seems to be a combination of trade team and national teams bibs here:

My assumption is the national team has a full kit but many riders will prefer to wear the bibs that they are used to.

Also Nibs seems to have a proper Tricolor National Champions National Jersey

That in the pic was just a training ride, so I suppose they are wearing whatever they like and don't have any obligation. Or maybe their bibs were simply dirty that morning

Why not finish on one of the climbs and have either one or two more laps of them, or find an extra 20-30km of flat beforehand.

The finish is set in Cesenatico, Pantani's home town, as a tribute.
But they could definitely find a way to reduce the distance between the last climb (not categorized) and the finish. 40K is way too far!

TBH I think he would have been more than a serious contender for the Vuelta if he hadn't been that stupid on stage 2. Currently, when in top shape, he is far far better than Aru.
