Somehow i find it hard to believe that the course is 3.5 km long. 3.43 is an extremely fast time for what seems to be a technical route from the map and Meyer's description.

According to the Radsport ticker, Van Winden had an average speed of 56.4(!).

kinda reminds me of the last years giro prologue, wiggins won that one infront of bookwalter and evans.

This is not a slight on Van Winden, I just thought that for a course like this the times would certainly be slower.

The start order pdf earlier in the thread had the prologue distance as 3.0km which might be more realistic
