Hincapie and Wiggins talking about hiw Pog killed his teamates today which won't make them happy to work for him.

He might have a point honestly.
He kinda threw the teammates in there as it was a wasted effort on bad tactics. But they were really talking about how pulling the break in pissed off other teams. Which I’m not sure I agree with considering bonus seconds at the end climbs

Perhaps exaggerated by the contrast with the Ayuso shitshow, but you gotta hand it to Yates to be both able and willing to support his leader in full despite finishing 3rd in the Tour last year.
yes!

he was brilliant last year. I kinda laughed a bit early on when UAE kept talking up Yates as their secondary GC threat, but yeah, finishing 3rd was a very credible secondary threat.

I watched a few podcasts that are trying to paint Pogacar as a bit of a punk. And trying to make him look a bit uncontrollable from team directors. I personally see what he has been doing, including today, being in the crunch and contesting the sprint as pragmatic. He has used more calories doing more up front but because he has been just outside all the crashes I hardly see what he does as a waste.. Roglic out and it's possible he is still racing if he @5-8 positions up outside of crash zone!! I accept all these talking heads saying Pog is racing stupid, too aggressive.. I still like it

During Matxin's interview today, there seemed to be a CCP minder standing by him fiddling with his phone. I have seen him many times before. His disinterested behaviour was odd. It was unclear who was the boss. Maybe it's a cultural thing.

No way they don’t win that and was almost a given before the start.
With almost an hour advantage after 15 days, how much further time can UAE gain with Pogacar, Adam, and Almeida and would it be the highest winning margin for the team classification ever? I think they could easily get close to 2 hr advantage from the final 3 stages if they keep at this level. No other team is anywhere close to having 3 riders finish a stage close to UAE.

The last time a team won by more than an hour was when La Vie Claire won it in 1986. That was by 1h 51min 50s, so I assume that‘s the mark to beat, but they can only do it if Visma blow it up on Bonette for them.

UAE gained 28 minutes in two stages over Visma. They don’t have 3 riders that can finish close if they ride hard to try and crack Pogacar. Otherwise it would probably be around 70-80 minutes.
