Remco was the strongest in the sprint, but to me it looked like he wasn't at his best on the climb.
Nothing but respect for Rubio, that was a hard solo effort on those gradients.

There is nothing to gain on Jebel Jais, one of the most boring climbs in world cycling. So to gain 7 seconds there is about as good one could do business. Bring back Hatta Dam.

Wasn't just QS. Tulett cracked pretty early for Ineos, Bahrain were invisible and UAE continued to underwhelm. When the B-team of AG2R hits the front in the final kilometre of a MTF you know something has gone wrong.

Also I don't know why they don't finish higher. The top is in Oman territory but they can go up to like 1700+ meter.
