Not a great split. Don't know about stagnating, he finished last year quite successful.

Agreed, but I'm talking more as a GC rider/climber. His punch seems really good tho. I expected more by now.

he also said that he'd aim more for Catalunya and Romandie, though, as he didn't regard this as a race which suits him particularly well.

I would think a GC decided by a TT and a MTF would suit him pretty good?

The forum these days is just full of weird Belgians spending their days arguing over the development of their favoured random Flemish farmer's sons, and their strengths in short prologues vs medium distance hill cronos.

What happened to real cycling and real cycling fans? Hopefully we get more from Omlopp.

Kepplinger insanely good.

Ok, really good 2nd part for Van Wilder.
As a rower he was always know for being a light guy with a huge engine.
In 2022 he was already 2nd in the Austrian NC ITT, ahead of Brändle. They did the ITT together with the Slovenians and he'd have been 3rd also in Slovenia, ahead of Polanc, 35 sec behind Tratnik and less than 30sec behind Mohoric.

His engine is legit.
