Agreed, but I'm talking more as a GC rider/climber. His punch seems really good tho. I expected more by now.
I would think a GC decided by a TT and a MTF would suit him pretty good?

As a rower he was always know for being a light guy with a huge engine.
In 2022 he was already 2nd in the Austrian NC ITT, ahead of Brändle. They did the ITT together with the Slovenians and he'd have been 3rd also in Slovenia, ahead of Polanc, 35 sec behind Tratnik and less than 30sec behind Mohoric.
His engine is legit.

Very interested in seeing what sort of time Armirail can cook up. Judging by how well the Decathlon bike has been going thus far, he'll beat McNulty by about half a minute.

Typical propaganda spewed by an overly excited manager, the same we saw with Uijtdebroeks, not knowing those type of comments usually do more harm than good. AJ is going to be great, but I wouldn't even rank him #1 in his own talent class.
