Top pro's need to adapt just a bit, get their gear right and they'll completely massacre that unbound lot. It's literally washed up WT pros there

not convinced its that simple, from what Ive seen of unbound, and even some of the world series gravel races or national championships, the courses are insane, often very technical and there would be no chance as a roadie just hopping on a different bike and competing at the very top.

this course, whilst to me it looks like my perfect style of gravel riding, which is itself a clue its probably not that technical all said and done and probably no worse than a "gravel stage" in a grand tour, I dont think matches up with what the gravel riders are competing on the rest of the year.

WvA on 9 minutes at second checkpoint

others

Swenson + 0.25
Vermeersch (Gianni) + 1.11
Vermeulen +1.12
Bakelants +1.22
Ten Dam +2.00
Slik + 3.36
Vakoc + 5.52
So Vakoc and Ten Dam, who finished in the front group at the Unbound Gravel 200 miles race are well behind after 2 hours of racing.
They better keep that Unbound Gravel race at a date when the WT pros are busy and pray for Valverde not to show up there.
