Can you share with us a list of clean cyclists so that we won't accuse them of doping anymore?

Thank you.

No. I won't. I am fine with this board, I understand why it is here. But people only listening to their own feeling and using any evidence, lack of evidence or evidence to the contrary to support their truth get on my nerves.

Well, as I know I am right I will keep by my statement. But if Moncoutie would be posting here, I would make an exception.
No, I feel like a forumer arguing with another forumer who isn't following the discussion.

Anyone who thought The Uniballer would have been higher on the list obviously didn't watch the race last year. He rode like a 0, so if he was a 4, you have to chalk that up to age.

But wait, there's more.

I love this guy, but it sounds like he's had one too many there. I need him fully credible above all.
Or, he's just warming up for something I'd buy tickets to if they were selling.

Still wanting to make a film of Floyd's life and story. Really.

Ok, as much as I've been making fun of cyclists and anyone else for using Twitter - that there is some funny stuff.

I was watching The Mentalist, and suddenly remembered a Tuttobiciweb article from weeks ago when the UCI was butting heads with teams. They translated a print article from L'Equipe, in which McQuaid had reportedly made a threat to teams that hadn't walked out. Someone backtracked on the story in English a day or two later, I believe here at Cycling News. But in my mind Pat threatened the teams with a current version of the type of list that everyone is so upset about. The first paragraph is just to give you context. Google Translated from Italian:

The UCI, which raises the tone, would be willing to withdraw its license to management teams whose attitude is questionable? The license granted to Vacansoleil had already created a debate after what happened with Riccardo Riccò. Of course it is impossible to oppose the return of disqualified (Valverde, currently suspended, has a warm place to Movistar, or Di Luca, recently hired by Katusha, the names have been made), and increased penalties from two to four years will be easy to place due to legal problems. But the UCI has reminded managers of their accountability to the proliferation of cases of relapse (Sinkewitz last example).

In his speech, McQuaid said he "has provided clear evidence. " In fact, the UCI has made it clear that they are able to have a clear vision of the health situation within each team with the biological passport. And as reported by witnesses, would chiamente waved the specter of public revelations that would make headlines. In short, McQuaid has clearly put pressure on the teams.

The link is kind of flaky. The article title at Tuttobiciweb is:

L'EQUIPE. Mc Quaid duro con le squadre, “passaporti” dubbi

from April 19, 2011. It can be found via a search for "McQuaid" at Tuttobiciweb if the link isn't working.

This thread is really funny.

If a rider a certain member thought to be doping is high on the list, it is not news, but a mere confirmation of own excellence.

If a rider is low on the list but was expected to be high, it is not a wrong judgment but again a confirmation of own excellence, it only doesn't show yet.

If a rider thought dope free is high on the list, he is still dope free because there are other reasons.

Really, this sums up the clinic really nicely. Not looking for the truth as you pretend to do, but only judging according to own prejucides. Thanks for reminding me that I shouldn't take this board seriously.

Excellent Post.

This list is great for speculating and perfect for the clinic but like so many other things means nothing. Because NOTHING has come from it.

If this list is so important why are Menchov, Barrado and Popovich still riding?

Hang on, isn't this meant to be a confidential document? Can any action be taken against L'Equipe for publishing it? I'm not sure what good it does, except casing another shadow of suspicion over a rider. For mine having a zero, or a low number can just be as suspicious as having an 8-10.

You mean when he (pulled his foot out) crashed or when he got (think cobbles) dropped?

Did the list include negative numbers??

I'm envisioning a sit-com "Disgraced Cyclist" about a man trying to rebuild his life. The story of how he got there is told through flashback sequences.

If reading message boards gets on your nerves, you need to smoke a bowl. You live in the Netherlands for f*ck's sake. That's the European Jamaica.

Ha! I don't even know a person anymore that "smokes" that way. It's nearly strictly a tourist affair. Especially for the Americans, they land here and get into a cab asking for the nearest coffeebar. "Can we really buy it there?"

Agreed. You're on a list? That can't be good.

From the article.

"Muravyev is a good example. We don't know why he's on the list as 8, it could be either because he trains in Tenerife - all riders who train there are high on the list. The other thing is, Muravyev has a consistently low haematocrit. Riders with low haematocrit before the Tour de France were targeted because the UCI believes they could have withdrawn blood to re-inject during the Tour.

"With Muravyev, you can check with the UCI; his haematocrit is 37. after the Tour de France it's still 37,
today it's probably 37. He said to me, 'They can put all my values on the Internet, but not this?' [Articles like L'Equipe's] aren't good for his image. He's such an honest guy."

Hysterical that they can say things like this and point to it as evidence that someone's clean. Such a brutally messed up sport.

None of you said s*** when I complained about UCI test leaks. And a special f'you to Wiggens and Millar. Your day is coming.
