OPL Team doctor.

No wonder no one pops up positive.

Hoplà... there you go. Gilbert the new Superman... thanks to his manager, that is.
AND no wonder the French are the least suspicious in such an illegal list. They are not being tested (where are the statistics?). Vockler anyone? Chavanel, hellooooo? New wave of French talent... HAHAH!

Menchov a 9 is no surprise. To be honest, neither is VDBjr with an 8. The two Great Germans Martin and Klöden score very high, I didn't expect Martin to score quite that high. The biggest GC contenders all seem to hang somewhere in the middle, but they probably spent the most money on manipulating their numbers, making it hard to draw a solid conclusion.

Perhaps a high score merely reflects a less professional doping regimen. That's what the scores in the 3-5 range suggest - the doping regimens of the top riders are designed with savvy about escaping detection.

Gotta love Cavendish's reaction upon being asked by a norwegian reporter about the list. Cavendish just stared angrily at him in silence for 30 seconds or so before he turned around and went into the bus. I guess the list wasn't good for HTC, although Cavendish himself came out of it rather good.

I also liked Cav's quote according to cyclingnews:

"Mark Cavendish, who was given a two, also tweeted. “So theres a leaked 1-10 'suspicion' scale for all 2010 TourDeFrance riders. So now EVERYONE'S suspicious, but just HOW suspicious?! BULL****”"

Um, yes, Mark, you *are* all suspicous! That's what decades of systematic, basically unashamed doping and lying about it does to the image of a sport.

I find some of the riders reactions very funny..
'One can only say on my behalf that my levels were consistent and inconspicuous'

'L’Equipe makes me sick. Is this the way we’re thanked for all the controls we’ve accepted to do?”

“I’m not worried. Perhaps some variations were caused by my operation. I ride for a team which is careful about these things. And anyway, I only had two tests done'

'There is nothing wrong with my blood values. Before the Tour I was checked about five times'

No answer of I'm clean :D

Omega Pharma Lotto is a Belgian team, not a French team.

Neither Voeckler or Chavanel ride for them.

You have no data on how often French riders were tested so your accusation is baseless.

The fact that most foreign pros left France to live in Spain years ago would suggest out of competition testing in France is pretty frequent and strict.

which French riders are winning Grand Tours and Classics anyway?

So he basically took it out on the reporter? Cavendish is a punk.

David Millar:

"I'm as clean as a whistle, my team [are] the cleanest guys and I have 100 percent faith in what we do. It's a bit mad,” Millar said. "To see us in the middle of the list, it's like - are you joking? It's scandalous."

This speaks volumes about attitudes inside the sport. More interested in being 0 on the list than proving his riders are clean with monitoring and testing!

This list shows exactly how the bloodpassport opens the door to major league corruption:
If one can avoid being tested during the (pre-)season, one avoids being targeted in the GTs.

But, the top of the podium will still get tested a fair amount of times.

The fact that so few positives occur is the real issue here, across all teams and nationalities. I wonder why that is?

"Clean as a meat whistle" according to Landis.

This comment ****ed me off.

Manuel Quinziato had a relatively low score of four but was angry about the leak in a twitter message: “L’Equipe makes me sick. Is this the way we’re thanked for all the controls we’ve accepted to do

And this from a doctor for Lotto was alarming

“Between Paris-Nice and Liege-Bastogne-Liege, we had no blood monitoring. So we are in the safe zone and will all be around 0."

So over 1 and a half months and they're riders have hardly had any blood mointoring? Including Gilbert!

And what contact has Landis had with Millar at ANY point in his career?
He has credibility talking about doping in US Postal or Phonak, but he knows f@ck all about many of the riders he is talking about now.

The capacity to add 1 and 1 sometimes suffices for making certain inferences. Doing the math is not about credibility.

I mean, where is the shotgun evidence for the daring claim that Santaclaus doesn't exist?

Haha, he has some hilarious one-liners though:

Oh and congrats to Radioshack and @lancearmstrong for winning the second team classification in the 2010 TDF.

Vaughters told Floyd about BW's blood profile matching Floyd's. USPS 2.0 and all that. JV and Floyd are still in contact.

One should remember Miller was just like Floyd and protested his innocence for a long time before the police made him confess. According to David everyone was a "nutter" for suggesting that he might have used drugs. Being 800k in debt helps you re-invent yourself as something different. On the surface at least.

I suppose the common denominator between Landis and Millar/Wiggins would be Lim. But it might take a genius LA fanboy to figure that one out.:D

Lets try that logic.
Landis is a proven liar and a cheat. So adding 1+1 together would suggest that his comments are worthless.
Thanks for the help.

Millar a proven liar and a cheat. So adding 1+1 together would suggest that his habits haven't changed one bit..
