Landis is a proven liar and a cheat. So adding 1+1 together would suggest that his comments are worthless.
Thanks for the help.

Yes, he was lying up until May 2010 and now he is still lying according to you, though he has taken a 180 degree turn in his story. So, which part was he lying about, since it is impossible he is lying about both?

It wasn't my logic now, was it? Keep up.

Happy now Benotti?

Different subjects, so your logic doesn't follow.

You gotta love these guys logic:

someone who gets caught doping, lies about it until presented with proof, then admits that he did it once, alone, because he was mentally weak, noone knew about it or helped him etc, who then reinvents himself as 100% clean, reformed, hard working, saintly etc is 100% CREDIBLE and their word must not be challenged!

Someone who gets caught doping, lies about it for years, then changes tack and claims to be telling the whole story in presenting a fairly credible account of how him and others beat the system for years, has nothing to lose, drops accusations about how the best riders loaded up on dope, story taken seriously by FDA and USADA etc is ALWAYS a LIAR, and we mustn't believe ANY OF IT, as he just wants to RUIN CYCLING!

It's a daft position to take.

Oh really?

The only place I know of that is under debate where he is a proven liar is either before May 2010 or afterwards, but I admit I am not all up on the talking points of the head in the sand crowd.

Is there somewhere else it is shown he is a "proven liar" on the subject of David Millar, or Bradley Wiggins? I just want to stay on the subject here. Thanks.

It would be a daft position to take, I agree. So I don't.

Millar has **** credibility, landis has **** credibility.

Its as simple as that. The moment Millar starts "outing" riders he has little or no knowledge of, purely because he is angry at the world, I will take the same stance with him.

Good to know that 1+1 doesn't make 2 where you come from.

p.s. To spot that edit by Benotti, that's quite an achievement. You had like an estimated 15 seconds to spot that edit.

Hey look! FL says the sun will rise in the east tomorrow. Since he is a proven liar I am not stupid enough to believe that one bit! :D

The difference is that Landis had knowledge of the riders he outed because he both rode with them, and spoke with them.

You cannot seriously think that there is no merit to what he says. Seriously, I know you are intelligent enough to work out that nothing he says is outlandish. I realize that some people will hold on to denial until the bitter end, but you are not that dumb. I honestly believe you are just being contrary to be contrary at this point.

You see TFF, I look at the post and form an opinion. I don't look at the poster. I am have zero problem defending the likes of python if I agree with him nor do I have a problem going against patrick or one of my friends if I think they are wrong. I admit it is hard to keep friends with that attitude....thanks for pointing out and respecting my "flaw". :)

I am looking forward to andy's reply, because I am pretty confused about "the subject". Maybe he is speaking about meat whistles inre to DM, and FL's implication that most are dirty is contradicted by scientific evidence that the average meat whistle is clean. Hopefully he will post some supporting data.

He is a proven liar, ie it is not open for debate that he has been proven to have lied repeatedly in the past.

His current comments have to be taken with that knowledge in mind.

His comments, about current riders, lack credibility due to his lack of personal knowledge of them, rather than his track record.

Millar and Wiggins could be doped up to the eyeballs, but Landis is guessing as much as anyone here.

so your logic is that dopers have no credibility and the deserve to be treated as what exactly, liars for the rest of their lives and everything thereafter that comes out of the mouths is not credible?

I am glad the police dont use the same logic in their efforts to fight crime or the fact that the Feds/Novitsky follow your logic.

But to answer your question. Yep, I am a happy guy! Why wouldn't i be? UCI is getting its a$$ kicked again, doping is in the headlines in a sport that refuses to deal with it and it is a blue skied 24º on my balcony:) Thanks for asking.

Exactly, he has lied in the past. That doesn't mean he should be discounted in the present and future. That is what you are saying, and no matter how much you spin after your posts upthread you wrote what you wrote.

If you want to change your tune from "discount what FL says because he is a proven liar" to "FL has no firsthand knowledge so let's take his opinion with a grain of salt", then sobeit. I can respect that take. At least be honest and admit you were just spouting off upthread on "the subject" that completely flew over my head lol.

Why does it matter if he is lying or stating things that he is not sure are true.
Saying Millar is as clean as a meatwhistle may not be lying, but its a fine line, if he has nothing to back it up.

Getting back to the story here ....

My biggest question is - if this is a list of who the UCI thinks should be targetted for extra testing .... WHY is it only based on the biopassport?

why are other factors not taken into account? (yanno - like the fact that he has tested posative in the past might just indicate he should be considered at substantial risk again ;))

Is definitly off

It was a ****ing joke, get over it. In the following tweet he insinuated Wiggins sucks dicks, do you think he meant that too?

eta:
GreyManrod Chade O. Grey
And conveniently for Millar, Wiggens plays the skin flute.

Is this the 'Is Landis lying' thread?

I thought we were discussing the UCI list.

In that case, the 0 for Spartacus means just one thing.

There is a new Sherriff in town.

Ferrari this and Lim that are now irrelevant. Fuentes is an imposter from past history.

The entire Peloton is now scheduling trips to Swtizerland to meet the new boss.

Il dottore #2.

Dave.

andy, you said upthread FL "was a proven liar" when the subject of DM came up, thus the implication his opinion should be discounted. You have backed off from that to pointing out FL has no proof one way or the other about DM in real time so he should stfu. That is ok with me.

Let's move along. I am sure you have alot of other stuff on your plate in this thread that will take your full concentration. Take care.

Get it?
And do you know something about Wiggins that you want to share?

I will stop derailing the thread now....

O

The fact that most foreign pros left France to live in Spain years ago would suggest out of competition testing in France is pretty frequent and strict.

It would also suggest that they are not clean.
