Specialized announce their team, and new kit; and Adrien Boichis will race in their colours on the MTB, and not RB-Bora; same as Koretzy did when he was there. Same as Laura Stigger for SDWorx-Protime.

Lots of top XC racing over the last weekend; US Cup, which was streamed live, well done all those who put it together. Shimano Massi Super Cup, Swiss Cup. and I think there was the Italian series as well.....

Jolanda looks ready and back on form.

I suppose the only caveat, is her wins have been in wet, muddy conditions, were her technical skills are the big factor.....
Brazil will be interesting to see if her form is there in hot, humid conditions, and the faster pace of races.

And with Brazil in less than 2 weeks, there will be a few names missing, either through injury or racing on the Road - Spring classics/ Stage races.

WB/Discovery pulled the plug on the Track Champions League after 4 years, despite an 8 year contract. Males you wonder if their contract for the MTB World Cup is on 'thin ice'.......

I can't say I'm surprised, but pleased to see anger against this decision. A Top 5 podium place is a thing to aim for, and brings a bit more publicity for teams/ riders in a sport which badly needs it.

The first race of 2025 is days away - yet you wouldn't really know it........WBD need to do more to get the general cycling media to take this sport seriously.......

Is there a site for MTB like PCS or cyclocross24 where you can find start lists and the like?

I may be way off base here, but shouldn't a ride like Isabella Holmgren, who won basically every race she entered last season, give some thought to racing elites?

Yeah, I thought she would step up, after her Worlds performance.....
However, maybe her/ her team/coaches have decided to stay in the U23s, and get better technically whilst not being with the Elites; that is her only weakness. Step up when she feels comfortable.....she's still young (a 2nd year U23, I think)

Her starts are also pretty bad. At least in CX, I'd assume the same applies in XCC/XCO.

Love that it's XC season again!

Woo hoo!!!!!!

Way to go Bella, Ella, Jennifer J!!!

Brrrrrrrap!

I don't race MTB anymore, but I so much prefer watching XC over many of the road races these days. Better ambience and if I'm to be honest, a little bit less clinical activity

Maybe Mathieu will race after PR.
