I find XC MTB more interesting, as it's not solely about who has the biggest engine...... There is the technical skills part of the sport; if you haven't got them, you'll pay for it, by either crashing, or losing time, and wasting energy trying to make up lost ground.I don't race MTB anymore, but I so much prefer watching XC over many of the road races these days. Better ambience and if I'm to be honest, a little bit less clinical activity
He should, he has said XC worlds is his big goal for the season.
Yeah, absolutely! If it really is his big goal, then he needs plenty of time training, and actually racing on the MTB. The XCO Worlds course in Crans-Montana is ultra technical......it even caused Nino problems last year.
I wonder if he'll turn up to Nove Mesto??
