Will be interesting to see which races Pidcock does, Kurt Boogart has said he will race mountain bikes after the Giro has finished and prior to the Vuelta.

If he's doing the Vuelta, then he can't ride the MTB Worlds; so I'm guessing selected World Cups, and possibly the Euros, in Portugal at the end of July.

yeah the Euros has specifically been mentioned and I assume Andorra a few weeks before.

But that was before the Vuelta invite. The most recent interview with Boegarts suggests its still the case though, and gravel later on in the year. Although I don't really get that because the Worlds is the same weekend as Lombardy

I think they need to rethink the Gravel Worlds slot in the calendar; I'm sure it's been the same day as Paris-Tours, and the day after Lombardy..... Just move it to a week later.

This is the answer. His team have a deal with Scott thru the end of 2025 and he knows the heavy Spark will too much bike for his light weight/max power.

I've several 'proper' 80's/ early 90's lightweight mountain bikes he can borrow.
I believe his contract states Pinarello for this season at least.

2nd round of the Enduro World Cup, Bielsko-Biala, Poland.
And the 1st round of the DH World Cup at the same venue.

You can see where the MTB media's priorities really lie; plenty of previews, tech round ups, etc for DH, and the MTB World Cup season starts - forgetting the XC races in Brazil a month ago.

Plenty of XC racing today, a week before Nove Mesto; both XCO World champions return in Heubach, whilst its another round of the OKK Revolution series in Hutwill; plus French Cup.....

Agree, it's a completely different sport.
Can you imagine the outrage from the Pinkbike, VitalMTB forumites..........It might require more pedalling, and that's "not what modern DH is about".

XCC day at Nove Mesto, and Holmgren's unbeaten run comes to an end.......by her twin Ava.

Puck had 2 laps to get in front and immediately upping the pace. Got to love her race style. Not always the smartest tactic but good to see.
