If Roglic wins, it will be interesting to see all post-race Roglic vs Heras fights. Who is the true King of the Vuelta? I guess it comes down to whether you value a single Giro win or re-winning a GT in the courts. I can see both sides but lean towards the latter. I mean, many riders have won single Giro (Hesjedal, Hart, Hindley, etc.) but not even all-time greats like Lance Armstrong or Eddie Murks managed to re-win a GT via legal courage.

Voted for Evenepoel.

The riders will meet with the race organizers this evening to discuss whether to turn tomorrow into a second rest day. "It's dangerous to ride a bicycle without being fully recovered, and besides my wife wanted to spend one more day with me," says Vingegaard before going to the meeting. They will also talk about the possibility of neutralizing stages if the temperatures exceed 25 degrees Celsius.

And under 24 degrees Celsius.

I chose Remco. I think it could easily be Roglic, Vingegaard, or Ayuso, but, much like @Big Doopie , I’m expecting the worst and hoping for the best.

I think Remco will really demolish tomorrow, he’s gotten through his bad day OK, Roglic will ride too defensively to take much time from him, Vingegaard just won’t have it due to poor prep and just not caring that much, Kuss will fold, and Ayuso isn’t there yet in his development.

I voted other/vino for Landa who was unjustly bumped from the poll to make room for Almida.
Landa is unpredictable, there is a 10% chance he drops everyone on angliru and wins in a spetacular fashion, a 20% chance he gets a decent top 5 and 70% chance he spend the rest of la vuelta in the grupetto.

Almida you just know he's going to finish 4th.

Landa should be included over almida.

Been away on holiday and come back to hear that the Vuelta is carrying on as before I left with arbitrary finish points cos of a little mud and Remco still complaining, This time that no one told him he had to beat Roglic to the line ?

Gosh cant wait for the next 2 weeks o_O

with the way the flooding is going in Madrid it might be the best swimmer that wins this Vuelta

But I am sticking with Primož Roglič. ...still no reason that he cant win

However I too would love if it was Kuss...
