I stopped watching football years ago, right around the time I learned that there were idiots that thought Jim McMahon was a good quarterback. Crazy people, huh?:D

OMG! Late breaking news! LA rode off the road in the 2003 TdF so he should have gotten a 6 minute penalty. Stop the presses!

Maybe we can start an online petition like the hate referendum to get to the bottom of this travesty of sporting justice.

I have to repeat my question again, since this page is spammed by nonsense replys of ChrisE (as always) and PatrickL...

Is there a 6 minute penalty if riding out of track?

If there is, then you can just discount that win in 2003. I am sure there is a picture somewhere of LA holding up 6 fingers for your new avatar. BTW, 6 would still be the record.

You post something pasted from youtube about LA smashing an Euskitel bike, and with some startling news about not receiving a penalty in 2003.

Yes, I am the one that is mentally deficient.

The last comment there:
"it was the year armstrong crushed the bike of leiseika four times on stage and he did not get punished.
he also rode out track and that should have been a six minute penatly as well if rules were applied."

Is that true? Is there a 6 minute penalty if riding out of track? If so, it´s just another time when Pharmstrong got favoured by UCI. I mean it wouldn´t surprise me after all.

Not UCI but the race judges issue time penalties. Beside the rules state only if you gain an advantage are you penalised.

Is this the point we've got ourselves to? Racing fines?

Now i know why you stopped watching football; b/c you have no idea of it.

Not that this guy broke 77 NCAA records, was a pro bowler (back in the days when the real idiots were not allowed to vote, but only coaches and players) and winner, no no, you know it better as seemingly self declared non idiot...

Anyway, why don´t you discuss NFL in the NFL thread? I know why: just look at my first sentence...

100. 90.

Threadin the old needle eh?

Crushing four bikes? There's plenty of real ammunition and you bring up *** comments made on utube?

WTH are you talking about?

I respond to you posting something (a pasted youtube comment that makes zero sense along with some earth shattering news about the 2003 TdF) and you start sqealing about a ban.

If you cannot defend what you post and can't handle any criticism of it, stop posting.

??? Criticism ??? Defend a Question

You just could have given a straight answer, if you don´t know about it, leave it. Simple as that. No need to come up with "hate" and other BS. It´s not the first time you start trouble with me. So i feel free to let others know that you have got some serious problems interacting with others, thus getting banned many times. Don´t you think you better stop posting?

the editors at CN can see how Armstrong is still cycling gold even when he has not raced a bike in a long time. Over a million views in just the clinic subject, probably over 2,000,000+ if you count other Armstrong content.

Now other posters have unintentionally shown what other sports organizations think of Armstrong by the signing of another contract to compete and endorse triathlons. I am sure the purists don't like doping or it's discussion but you can see how grateful CyclingNews must be for Lance's power to get peoples attention

Not only that, as was posted upthread the in the latest advertisement the new MSNBC sports channel has images of LA baldheaded with scars spinning on his bike, then winning the TdF.

Its doubtful that MSNBC and CN hang on the every word of somebody named "crawfish" on twitter and the ramblings in here.

Thats silly. I like your posts but he looks anything but worried. You're just inciting innuendo and mysticism. Even a nutter like me can see that.

Nothing wrong with rumour but Andre moves with the stars and the elite. He's feeling very little heat at all - and thats the problem with his decision. He's walked away complexly unscathed without a scratch.

Hog, you are by far the sanest person in this forum. The bad guys won. That's all there is to it.

SOS - same ol shisse

you know just for info check what Matt Decnio had to say about him here http://forums.roadbikereview.com/doping-forum/matt-decanio-doping-8143.html

....in particular a couple of posts down this struck me as kind of prescient:

"Then you have Tom Danielson on the team who basically came out of nowhere to dominate the racing scene from a struggling mountain bike racer to a grand tour rider with the help of Rick Crawford, a coach who has admitted to having his riders use blood spinners in the past in a heated email confrontation claiming, “Is that all you got?” When David Clinger told me in confidence that Crawford had asked him to purchase blood spinners to be used in conjunction with doping."

Go Crawfish!

I'm not implying that he is my new 'guru'. I find his posts interesting and entertaining.

Maybe you can substitute "Lance Armstrong" for "Tom Danielson" in that paragraph too...
just sayin' about your point...

you could...but it wouldn't quite be true seeing as he didn't come out of nowhere....Rick was coaching him when he was national Sprint Triathlon Champion at the age of 19....it's kind of interesting to note that most people on here who claim LA was juiced as a junior do so in part because of the rumours surrounding Crawford as his coach, and yet they see no irony in quoting him as some kind of anti doping advocate now that he's "seen" the light. Funny how often that's happened....Floyd....lying doper to star "witness"....Tyler....er...lying doper (x2)...to star witness...Crawford...well...they were just rumours about the centrifuges...he has always maintained he used them with TD to collect "data" and not for anything whatsoever to do with....you know....doping.

Anyway...as you were...:D

Peace

p.s. how do I post a pic from my desk top not from a link?

Maybe it's time to change the title of this thread to "Football, and why you're an idiot with multiple bans and why your mom is a ******, so there".

That way everyone stays on topic.

Well, it would be interesting if anyone had said that Crawford was "some kind of anti doping advocate" - but since they haven't then it isn't.

What is interesting is that anyone who made claims that LA doped as a Junior did not mention Crawford, but Chris "extract of cortisone" Carmichel.

As you said - as you were...

ignoring your first point as frankly Mas, it would be foolish not to...

to the bolded part......whoever said that really needs to do some checking cos Carmichael never trained Armstrong as a junior...as a junior LA was a triathlete and not a cyclist....and people here have claimed he was juicing from the age of 16...if you want to find who these "people" were, who made those claims, well, you have shown yourself more than capable of using the search function here.;)

Good to see you again, by the way.

What was foolish was to make claims of what people said about Crawford - good idea to try and ignore it.

Nah - if you want to show who said he was 'juicing' since 16 thats on you.

Also - I never said Carmichael was his Armstrongs junior Coach - of course Carmichael wasn't Greg Strocks coach either...;)
