Lance is training there anyway, why not donate his time and raise a few hundred thousand bucks for a local charity. The few hundred thou is peanuts to Lance, but to the local charity it is very helpful.
I would think the local charity approached Lance, and Lance would not could not say no.

Lance was cleared by the Feds due to insufficient evidence.

The investigation into GJ leaks is a whole other case, still might be ongoing for all we know. But in the end, IMO, I would expect the FDA or whoever to be cleared - also due to insufficient evidence. Although Goober might disagree with me on that.

What I don't get is LA filed complaint of leaks against the feds, then the feds were influenced by him to drop the case all conspiracy-like. I guess that's called tough love.
