How long/steep is the hill?

Looking at the profile it seems to be around 3 miles. It goes from somewhere around 700 feet to 1800 feet.

Lookout is something like 5 km's at 6%, Kent Street I heard is a few meters @ 20%

Travis McCabe in the break afterall!

It seems almost 1/4 of the peloton in the break with some strong names. I wouldn't be surprised if the race winner is there.

Breakaway is down to 9 riders. They have 2'45" on the peleton.

Did Marcotte drop on Lookout? He didn't look very well there.

No doubt it's the winning break.

Talansky has 1:40 on the 1st chasing group. Peloton 3:25 minutes back. 2 guys in between.

It will be impressive if he can stay away. I was thinking he should have waited for the last time up Lookout.

Peloton really small now.

This is good for Talansky. Only 7-8 left in the group, though 5-6 may get back on during the descent. I think I saw Gaimon, Horner, Dombro, Busche, Manion, Reijnan

Only 1:15

I actually think Dombro should have attacked on the climb despite having AT up the road. He could have probably gone away solo, (maybe taking Horner) and could have always ceased the attack if it wasn't working out properly, but he's going to be useless in the finale if it comes back together. Probably would have shattered the group and also disturbed a concerted chase.

Funny I had the Ports on TV here in the US but no coverage of the USA National Champ. Go figure....
