Expected win for Sagan. It was obvious before the start Froome isn't here for GC so not sure why people are surprised. Just like I wasn't surprised when Nibali lost 9 minutes on one Tour of Poland stage.

so the good news: We have identified about 60 riders as tourist or otherwise after stage 1. These guys can now try and make the race or help team mates win something rather than wheelsuck the peloton.

Stage 2 reminder:

Hoping for some Garmin chaos tactics. Talansky FTW.

I'd replace at least 6 of those riders for these 4: Caruso, Acevedo, Atapuma, Deignan

Joe D. had a pretty nasty nosebleed. No wonder he kept dropping back to the medical car. Was wondering what was wrong.

Cooke, Lemus and Schar's gap has extended to 2.20 min. They're on Independence Pass.

Kennaugh has abandoned. I guess that's what happens when you're partying in Ibiza five days before a race held at crazy altitude. ;)

Dombrowski, Boswell, Pate and Edmondson will soon be on their own. Hell, I actually prefer 3-4 men teams in one week races anyway.

JJ Haedo should be able to beat Sagan

Edit: nothing but DNFs for him this season so far though

actually he's won many races this year(7 or 8 I think), but he's not in good form recently.
