Get some new talking points, your points are old and stale. Better yet dare to actually be critical and not blindly believe because somebody criticizes Lance they are brilliant. You are proving my point, you get good info for sure, you lack the bandwidth for critical thought.

You’re an angry man. That much is true.

I agree with that, but I'd suggest that you shouldn't be so quick to categorize those who question her as "protecting the myth", they're simply pointing out some gaping holes in her thought process. Yeah, it's not the NY Times, but the reality is what you write is who you are in the "blogging world", and stuff like that doesn't help ones credibility. I'm sure in time she'll figure it out.

To me, the most interesting part of this whole thing is the level to which Big Tex will go to control the message. It's not really "creepy" per se, it's incredibly predictable. Unfortunately for her, after "persuasion" doesn't work, he'll be onto the next step, which will be even less pleasant.

I question those who are searching for a reason to dismiss everything she writes, it seems desperate but is easier then addressing some of the valid points

Her clueless about Frank has little to do with Wonderboy trying to hook up for coffee so he can pitch his version of the truth. I never received the "Persuasion" Pitch, he went straight to harassment

Oh my. You've just described yourself... except the "you get good info" part.

Tell me, are the twitter/blog wars LA engages in... are they helpful in his case with the USADA?

It's as if LA has the mentality of a 15 year old.

As if? Without Tailwind, Lawyers and Public Strategies running interference, that's exactly the impression I get.

Oh contrare.

That she may be clueless underscores Wonderboy's preoccupation, desperation and sensitivity, and inability to take the actual situation into account.

The whole thing is bad judgement.

Not arguing, but the USADA response and USADA/Armstrong was very much a part of this:

Exhibit 1:

"In other news, I have returned to the land of the internet and I am catching up on my backlog of work, which includes reading and analyzing the USADA response, which I realize is now borderline irrelevant, but from what I have read so far, it should be entertaining."

This dialog in this thread could as easily have been part of the 'Lance as a bully' thread, as there appears to be at least a little intimidation that was attempted. The 'confrontation' having similarities to Lance showing up at Betsy's deposition, for example, to provide the message, 'I am here, and I am watching'.

Exhibit 2:

@LanceArmstrong: Ignoring random strangers is understandable unless that random stranger is the recipient of the majority of your drivel.

We should infer 'drivel' to be pejorative, n'est ce pas?

Dave.

I understand the genesis for the direction this thread took. However, things went quite a bit in a direction which had nothing to do with Armstrong / USADA, none of it relevant to the topic. Thanks for your understanding.

Folks, I am getting weary of deleting posts. Please move back to the topic, or infractions are the next step. Thanks!

haha what a train wreck that was. maybe he should have found out if those other guys even knew what he was talking about before trying to be funny. and his attempts at rescuing the situation made it worse

I thought it was hilarious. But I have never seen True Blood. Should I watch it?

V is a narcotic. it's actually the blood of a vampire that gives humans and werewolves super strength, speed, and regenerative powers (among other things). The fact that a News anchor would bring it up is just wacked. But then it is Fox

p.s. It is interesting however that they are insinuating LA doped with it... Even though it's mostly just a joke, it shows the change in perception around the LA Legend

Anyone who thinks I will spend 20 minutes listening to the same tired old arguments (I skipped around--heart 1/3 larger than most people? Seriously?) has as big of an ego as his hero. I have a suggestion for that guy: Get to the freaking point.

"Boring" is a kind characterization.

you did better than I did. 10 seconds in and I couldn't get past the hat...

Talking points from that Video

1) No positive tests
2) Only two witnesses both liars
3) Lance had too much to lose by doping in his comeback therefor he would not have done it.

Kind of wonder if it was a commissioned video.

"Its hardly a glamour sport like football"

Ha- nice one

Ronaldo earned 45m last year. That's serious income. And football is the world game. Bigger than any other sport in the world.

Ok, he only put 6 minutes into 'the best climber in the world' Pantani on that climb.

Perhaps a so-so performance for a guy who once upon a time couldn't even get through the first set of mountain stages, let alone to them:

1993 DNS Stage 12
1994 Abandon Stage 15
1995 36th
1996 Abandon Stage 6

Even in 1995, when he did finish and in the top 50, he was more likely to finish mountain stages with sprinter Max Sciandri (e.g. Stages 10 and 14) than within a half hour of stage winner Pantani.

Apparently he hadn't yet found the secret to becoming a 'natural climber'. Nice turnaround.

Not to mention Armstrong also could not time-trial:
