They don't make a towel big enough to get that egg off your face...I'd suggest a 2000 psi car wash, but I don't think even that would work

HEY, speaking of massive buckets of egg on one's face, anyone seen ChrisE?

Aw, you know Chris. Probably say he knew it all along... or some such horse****.

"Dr. Pedro Celaya was a Team Doctor for the USPS Cycling Team from 1997 through 1998 and from 2004 through 2007, by which time the team had come to be known as the Discovery Channel Cycling Team. ... Dr. Celaya is currently a Team Doctor for the Radioshack Nissan Trek Cycling Team."

Wondering when Radioshack and Nissan just pull the plug on this team.

I'm sure they have. USADA has been running their own investigation since Floyd started talking and they've shown over and over that they know how to win these arbitrations.

This biggest issue I have with this is that USADA is claiming they have proof that his test showed that his blood values are consistent with Blood Doping in 2009 and 2010.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't USADA responsible for reviewing the tests? It is now 2012. Why are we just hearing about it now? Is it that complicated? If they had proof in 2009, they should have done something then. If they had proof in 2010, the should have done something then.

And they can prove he doped his whole career? Why didn't they do something about it then?

So LA is going to be the fall guy for them not doing their job? Of course, they are run on tax payer dollars so I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm not saying LA didn't do it, but I am saying some crazy stuff must have been going on to keep this secret. That's what I'm interested in.... the cover up and how it happened and why.

It says that they "engaged in a massive doping conspiracy from 1998-2011" and cites the testimony of more than 10 cyclists. Michele Ferrari is one of the named doctors.

In its letter, USADA says Armstrong used EPO, blood transfusions, testosterone, corticosteroids and masking agents as well as distributed them and administered them to others.

:D:D Music to my ears. Bye Lance. Lying piece of sh.t hypocrite!

I agree the lack of action on 2009/2010 test results has to be explained.

But most of the other evidence seems to be testimony from other riders that they did not have before.

I think I read somewhere, that the federal investigation began just after Floyd came out, and went on for a long time, during that time USADA said that they would wait for the federal investigation to end before they made procedings of their own. That could be the reason for the delay, and maybe before Floyd came out they didn't have the proof (in regards to witnesses and testimony) in order to pursue a case.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Oh, please do not bring up the tax payer dollars issue. Take your Lance marching orders elsewhere. We blow money on all kinds of crap in the US and blowing a few million to prove that Armstrong is a doper is just fine with me!

Crazy and scandalous decision. Hope Lance bring a suit against USADA for libel, and make some money and bring legal actions on them.

Consistent with is not proof. I think the point is that all of his "passed" tests, are consistent with doping, but were not enough to prove it.

When taken in conjunction with all of the eyewitness testimony though, they must feel it adds value to the case.

The reason they didn't act in 2010 was because of the Federal Investigation. They stated this at the time. That they'd wait for its conclusion before acting.

USADA have also being interviewing riders since 09/10 and collecting evidence. They have also been in touch with "bodies" in Europe whom have also passed on evidence.

Lets not get silly here.

I disagree. If they could have acted they would.

I suspect that when they say the samples are consistent with doping, they do not mean that they prove doping by themselves. So they likely do not classify as positive tests.

We all know who has "won" the title taken away from Contador. Who are going to be the next seven tours "winners"?

They still haven't officially striped Riis of his win, and he has admitted to doping during that Tour. Not sure if they ever will give the titles to someone else.

He didn't ride that many races in 2009 and 2010, so are the blood test results from USA,
Italy, Switzerland, France?
Which body or bodies tested in these countries in those years? AFLD had financial problems and there were arguments between UCI, FFC, ASO and AFLD in France leading to UCI doing the testing I believe.

:D
