GH didn't do the GJ walk. He swivelled in another way to get his version of events on paper. Non-sealed.

Race Radio said:Only if they co-operate with USADA. If they do not they could face a sanction. Some have a lot to lose and will get hit by shrapnel. Armstrong and his team of paid liars have made it clear if he goes down he will take as many as possible with him. He does not seem to realize the sport has moved on. It will be fine. The Tri Geeks might be in a spot of bother though.
I still expect some form of managed admission.
Cal_Joe said:Ah, that may be so. But you have posted:
And you have been asked to provide a source. You have evidently declined.
No immunity for hoggy.
Inquiring minds would absolutely love it if you provided any links or further info.

Cal_Joe said:Great post, Cal_Joe.
I too am wondering about the veracity of the Hogedamus post. I cannot decide between the following scenarios:
1) USADA have ramped up things regarding LA. Hogedamus has many sources in USADA and his post should not be questioned by mere mortals.
2) Hogedamus is relying on the sad old tactic of reading anonymous tweets and, since they agree with his wish list, posts without attribution, avoiding embarrassing himself about the questionable source.
3) Hogedamus' predictions have always been true in the past (let's ignore the extradition of LA from France). Hogedamus will post about his sources, in great detail, so you should just STFU about hoggy. I think his Dr. Phil impersonations are the best thing that ever happened to the Clinic - where else can you find anyone that can psychoanalyze riders and posters without ever meeting them? And he does it for free!!

I can't imagine how his pricey attorneys would work this out for him.

Waterloo Sunrise said:Lance was clearly doped, and seems like a bit of a tool, but seriously, this Hog post has just appeared out of the ether. If asking for a source is trolling, science must be conducted under bridges.
BroDeal said:I guess this is where we find out that whether the faith that people have in Vaughters and crew, that they were secretly providing information to the USADA and other authorities, will turn out to be any more substantial than Vaughters' cowardly, backpedalling affidavit in the SCA arbitration.

I Watch Cycling In July said:Yep. I'm guessing that IF the Feds hand over any info and If USADA investigates, those who cooperated and talked to the Feds outside the grand jury room have some difficulties ahead.
Cal_Joe said:Do you have any info to add on the Hogedamus predictions? Or do you think they should not be questioned?
Race Radio said:That USADA is building a case against Lance has been well reported for a while.
Looks like USADA are about to pull the trigger on the Lance for doping.
Merckx index said:Oh, come on. Everyone knows that, it’s in the title of the thread. But yesterday, Hog posted this:
I think most people would interpret that as there being some more recent development, indicating that an announcement of evidence against LA will be made very soon. If that wasn’t what Hog meant, then he was just inanely repeating what anyone who followed the thread already knows. It would be like someone posting on the Contador CAS thread, say last December, it looks like the decision is about to be announced, then when asked for a link, replying, well, we know that the decision is coming sometime in January. If Hog wanted to bump the thread up, he could do that without implying he knew of some recent development.
I asked Hog yesterday to provide a link and he ignored the query, even while responding to other aspects of my post. Then another poster today asked for a link, and someone actually had the gall to call him a troll for that.
I understand that we all get addicted to these forums to some degree, so that we feel a need to be active on them even when there is no recent news to discuss. But that doesn't justify implying that there is news just to get a discussion going. Frankly, that strikes me as a lot more like trolling than simply asking for a link in response to such a post.
Do be so insolent. I deliberately ignored your request because whilst I like your posts your headmaster like tone was demeaning.
Do you think if there was a link to this that it would be all over news already? Do you think I'm the only one who knows of such a link and no one else has found it.
No theres no link. What does that mean? Not everything is released to the Internet as a press statement.
Merckx index said:If my tone was headmaster-like, that certainly applied to my entire response to you. Yet you selectively responded to some of it, but pointedly not to my question about a link. So even if you found my post demeaning, that doesn’t account for your lack of response.
Quite possibly, yes. Links are often posted here before they hit the main news. Sometimes news is published in media I have no access to.
If you will go back to my original post, I suggested this as an alternative (“can’t reveal my sources”) but you couldn’t at that time verify that this was the case. Given that I offered this as an alternative possibility, the rest of your post chastising me for thinking everything has a link is obviously off target. A ten letter word beginning with h and ending with r comes to mind.
