Here is a theory. If Armstrong were to contest any USADA action then it would go to an arbitration proceeding. He would have to testify under oath. His criminal attorneys have told him that cannot perjure himself without risking criminal charges, which could be proved with information gathered by the federal investigation. He is in a position where he cannot contest any charges.

I often wonder about this. If USADA do strip titles what are the implications legally? Other than losing titles what other doors open for potential civil suitors? (victims)

Edit: I feel very strongly that this thread could really take off if the mods would see fit to providing batteries for all machines. Mods? Any chance?

Actually I don't think RR ever said LA would be in jail....that prediction was reserved for the clinic moonbats. I know it gets a little confusing in here sometimes.

RR always said LA would plea down, which I guess could be kinda moonbattish knowing what we know about LA (or what we admit to know or make up that fits the clinic agenda). Too bad we didn't get to see it play out. Some of us could have laughs for days about the govt's witnesses bludgeoned by LA's lawyers. It wouldn't be evidence-in-the-beer-can-with-other's DNA funny, but seeng the pretzel squirming in here would make it much more of a classic. Then, of course the next prediction lol after clinic hater support group therapy.

It sounds like someone was busy getting wasted in the parking lot and missed the first half.

Where have you been the last 2 years? A last second hail Mary right before half time is no reason to think you won the game.

Actually, the jail time was kept secret - as you are probably aware, he was extradited from France shortly before the start of the 2010 TdF, then there was the perp walk, then being held without bail until charges were filed.
