I don't think it qould have been that bad of a stage, if we actually had pictures of it. Great Ride for Bruno Pires.:)

a queen stage decided completely in the downhill in rain.

No sorry, that was bullsh.t. Glad Leipheimer won't win now though!

DISASTER for Levi, lost 44 seconds.

Any rider other then Van Garderen and that 45 seconds wouldn't be the end of the world. Bad news to lose that much to a time trialer almost as good as Levi though.

At least this had a queen stage. What do you think of the Tour du Poitou-Charentes?

Andy Schleck stopped for a few quick tins on the way down the hill I think.

Actually Andy made up some decent time on the descent? He was dropped quite early on the climb and I think that he clawed back some time to The Great Descender Frank Schleck.

Why are people complaining? The ones saying it should have ended as a MTF also didn't want Levi to run away with the thing. If today wasn't proof of the possibilities of a descending finish to be decisive and exciting, theres not much hope. Boohoo that old man George won it. If it was that mellow of a queen stage, where was everyone who wasn't in the top 6?

Tour du Poitou-Charentes doesn't talk itself up as though stage-race Hrotha

Again an essential point you seem to miss every time. Tours like California and Colorado talk themselves up being big and great and the thoughest. And everytime it turns out they were not as though as they claimed to be

Please note that downhill racing doesn't require any technical skills according to Andy... and that's why he ended so far back...
