Someone posted this: "Kashechkin said in D´Hont´s book, we are not here for your western ethics, but to make as much money as possible". It´s no coincidence that the eastern riders had the worst ratings on the suspicion list. If you like the list or not, it says all.
Where is Ekimov now? A DS or something? Let´s write them some mails of boycott etc.

insult to our intelligence

The thing that bothers me most about the Ekimov response (like everything from the Lance camp) is the utter arrogance and condescending nature of it. Ignore the history of doping in cycling since the 1890's. Ignore the fact that drug detection tests have usually been behind the times, so detection often required doing something stupid. Ignore Operation Puerto, the festina scandal and Oil for Drugs, among others. Ignore most of Lance's competition being convicted or highly suspected of doping. Ignore systemic doping at Festina and Telecom, among other teams. Ignore the testimony and word of 10or more people around Lance who have testified or said damaging things. (this is just a start!) They are all bitter, cutting deals or want to sell books.
Ignorance is bliss for some.

I suppose some people feel O.J. Simpson is still looking for the killer.

Ekimov's absurd pronouncements are explicable bearing in mind he relys on Armstrong for his living. He probably (in the light of Hinapies 'betrayal') wants to show Armstrong he's still 'super loyal'.

Omerta is picking up pace.

It is now omerta against the rest of the world (i.e. those who care about clean cycling).

Believe me, these guys (Bruyneel, Ekimov, UCI, and others implicated) will stick together to the bitter end.

The only thing these folks understand are handcuffs and restraint of their freedom. I discovered the same thing in the other USCF (US Chess Federation) when two board members were caught doing not nice and likely illegal things. They sued 15 of us for $10 million and settled eventually for a crumb from the organization's insurer--their lawyers were over $500K in the hole on billable time. What got the settlement discussions moving, finally, was when during a court ordered settlement conference in San Francisco, the US Secret Service came in at lunch break on the final day of negotiations, and handcuffed the miscreants' web master on a 34 count indictment for identity theft and email hacking of a USCF board member's privileged communications with counsel.

Everyone is waiting to see what kind of deal the web master cuts and which or both of the miscreants he throws under the Federal bus. Prison is all these people understand. Lock em away. The Federal prison system needs cycling and chess leagues.

Tyler and Floyd are liars.

Then you'd have to call one of LA's closest friends, Hincapie, a liar too.

Besides, Eki has to say that, having a management position on the team. As far as I know he's still with Retirement Shack. (In September 2006 he finished riding for Discovery, but stayed with the team as Assistant Directeur Sportif to Johan Bruyneel. On September 9 it was announced he would join Team RadioShack as Directeur Sportif.)
And here's the team RS staff page:
http://www.livestrong.com/teamradioshack/staff/

So he's in bed with Johan on this and you can't believer anything he says in rebuttal to Tyler.

Yeah, Eki, like you were sooo clean at the Olympics. *&^%$# hypocrite.

I’ve got to say, from the comments I’ve seen from cyclists in the past few years, most of them are not the brightest. Throw Pat McQuaid in there as well.
Radioshack needs to go down: Johan, Eki, Horner, Levi, Popovich…… all of them.
