haha AC's helpers are very impressive in the last couple of stages, while Nibali's helper on the flat road is just so so. Let's see how they perform on the cobble, fancy Nibali get on Cancellara or Sagan' wheel?

He had this settled with Peter & Cance under the table-so If Vincenzo gets literally welded to their wheels, then he'll cruise the cobbles straight through with good gains

That would be asking a Lot especially in wind and rain. He might get on it but staying there will be difficult. He looks so light that a feather could knock him over! As long as he stays upright and finishes in yellow I guess it should be enough to rejoice over. But I'd like to see him get a minute or more, he will need that time later.

Hopefully Froome is to far behind to see them battling . An AC vs Shark fight will be enough for my heart to take.

first section is going to be brutal, specialists wants to win the stage, GC riders want to drop the opponent, literally everyone wants a good position. And the rain, I predict just before the first section cobble there will be a big crash.

really hope they can make some sort of selection before the first cobble, so the probability of big crash will be reduced. NO ONE wants to fall on those nasty cobbles.

In theory Nibali is more suited for a Paris-Roubaix than Alberto and Froome. He has a stronger team too. Nibali has one chance to win the TDF and it's tomorrow.

Even if he is alone I see him fearless to take more risks.

Nibali's wheels are not immune to hydroplaning on cobbles. His tendency toward aggressive riding could be his undoing. This is a stage for not losing the Tour; not winning it.

Well, I don't know that much about riding ancient cobbled roads, but I do know that when riding my bike, if I have fear or think I am going to crash, crash is what happens to me. You have to have confidence in your preparation and abilities. We all know Squalo dello Stretto is fearless; but he is reasonable too. My guess is that Vincenzo Nibali has a plan, rain, wind, snow, hail...whatever the conditions

I called in sick as well, but an actually sick with salmonella. Hopefully the trade-off is worth it.
