He's about to win the best GT there is. No reason to ride La Vuelta. He'd rather play with his daughter.

La Vuelta or Giro may be in GT Nibali wins again. I say go beat Froome.

haha, that's a good one :D. Nibali will do TDF again in 2015 but hope he will drop that stupid idea to do Giro too, he will not be able to have a good shape in TDF>

Great ride today. But Contador and Froome. What if they had been there?

They would have quit the race in protest of Nibali making their legs hurt too much. :D:p

 I wanted a show of strength and Nibbles delivered. No crashing now Nibs and get a nice top 5 in the TT to finish this off.

It's more likely that Froome would have been warming down in front of the team bus, sipping pineapple juice when Nibali hit the 1km mark.

it ain't going to happen- Nibbs will take a deserved time off with his family to enjoy the perks of victory, and reset his mind and soul for the World's & Lombardy.....:)

This. He has earned it... Bravo Lo Squalo!

Given your predictions and analysis on Nibali at this Tour I think we probably shouldn't take much or any credence in what you're saying.

Think he's got it spot on !

Still kind of speechless LOL :). Silly Pappy Horner lures him out with 9km to go and BAM!!! Debt paid for the Angliru! I'll bet old Pappy was sorry he made that move :).

That was quite a show of dominance. Nibs just stay on the bike, avoid Idiot B*tches and their phones, and go join the GT Triple Crown Club.

All Hail Lo Squalo!

Ha! we'll see...

...story to be continued. :D:cool:

Froome and Contador, meh, they didn't finish the race so they're irrelevant. Nibali has been fantastic. People whining about a dull Tour, but the first ten days up to the first rest day alone made this the best race in years. Nibs is very likely the best all round cyclist of his generation and proved it over that mix of hilly classics stages, the Vosges mountains, cobbles, and weather both glorious and horrendous - looking at the guy, he will shortly have all three Grand Tours and is the only one that could realistically currently win any or all of the Monuments/Worlds having been close at MSR, LBL, Lombardia and the Worlds, and clearly having the skills over the cobbles as proved last week. With all the reductionist calendars and specific skill sets of the sport the last few decades, let's celebrate a Tour winner who can do everything in cycling extremely well.

This is a very simple and credible response to my post. I like you !

thanks. It's easy for me to respond because I REALLY wanted to see Contador and Nibali go head to head this Tour - Both appeared in the form of their lives.
We will be so lucky to get a chance like 2014 Pistolero vs Shark again :p

They will do a double against each other, Giro and after that Tour next year.

I think LBL, Lombardia he has a very good shot at those, maybe a tough MSR.
The problem with LBL and MSR is that you need to peak for those, not easy to fit in the calendar.
RVV and especially P-R I don't think suit him, even if he showed the can ride cobbles quite well.

A tough Worlds he can win as he showed last year.

I respect Nibali alot im a huge Froome fan but palmares is Contador>Nibali>Froome, i just think the competition is awful. Look how good Majka is after doing the Giro, it is irelevant he is winning from the break, just look how he holds them off still on the last climb. So im sure Contador will be in monster shape, the one stage Nibali had difficulty was a 1.8km hill/mountain, he lost three seconds in a few metres, people say that is not alot? Well lets see how much those three seconds turn into on a HC climb.:D

Thanks for the view of your fantasy, in terms of your view on 'palmares'. Some could look at racing results over the past 5 years and conclude Contador is past his prime and declining.
