The difference between Nibali and everyone else is that Nibali takes time whenever and wherever he can while others speculate.

Contador does as well..

No Contador doesn't take advantage of another rider's misfortune.

Nibali likes to do that, did that when Froome had mechanical in last year's Tour, Astana upped the pace when AC crashed in the Tour 14' .

If he saw his main rival crash right in front of him, he'd go for it and then be called a champion hahah.

Only 3 down on Contador.

Congrats! I would really have liked him to win the stage, though.

5 down ;)

I will ride a GT route on a motorbike and complete it faster than the winner. Will be just about as legitimate as Contador's wins.

Chapeau to Nibali! True champion in cycling. All GTs and monument, and the best comeback in recent history. This is what legends are made of. Now go kick ass at the Olympics! Having worlds or olympics title would really maje his palmares best in this generation.

The two true bike racers with enormous B*lls. The two who will roll the dice for it all. My two favorite riders and both are Grand Champions. Alberto is more naturally talented, Vincenzo has amazing grinta. They are both the best cycling has to offer for people who enjoy aggressive riding :).

Today is Shark Day!!! His comeback ranks right up there with Fuenta De for this fan.

Congratulations to Nibali.

Coming from you, I really appreciate. I sincerely hope Contador will pull a similar dramatic and spectacular win at Le Tour.

She's not being quite so nice on twitter from what I've seen :D

What is that? Free defamation? LOL I guess just as legitimate as Froome's and Nibali's wins ain't it.

I've always said: The greatest weapon that Nibali has is his heart & warrior spirit -and yes, there is luck- but to be lucky you have to be at the right place at the right time. This Giro proved once again how much he's underestimated by "everyone" yet he managed to get the win.

Grande Lo Squalo !!!

Good stuff :) You need to change the actor names, though.

Not sure what you mean. Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion. I am entitled to mine. No big deal. Just different moral standards.
And discussing about it will lead nowhere so there is no point

He keeps getting underestimated and winning, hope he'll be underestimated in Rio.

An spectacular win for him and he really fought for it, but you know my feelings about Nibali, Chaves and Kruijswijk so you'll also know how I feel right now :) still the last two days were very thrilling even though they were very bad for my favorites (Zaka, Kruijswijk, Chavito) and Nibali was clearly a level above the rest, possibly Kruijswijk could have defended his lead but we won't know :)

certainly he would make it, K was 4.43 ahead :(

Congrats to Nibali.
Proved again he's a classy rider, but owes to his team big time.
If he stays with Astana, it will be more clear to me what was happening to him before the Alps.

And there's a saying in my language (there's most probably in the others, as well, but it doesn't come to me at the moment), it says: "In the good - don't get carried away, in the bad - don't get humiliated".
It's a strong and obvious moral about dignity. Respecting just one half of it isn't enough.
He should keep that in mind, and his fans over here should too.
